Anambra people and creating bad blood wherever they go. Just look at the comments and understand why there will never be unity in igboland. Because of airport, some people are behaving like bush fowls and insulting everyone. Someone has even bragged that it's the best airport after Lagos and Abuja.. what a joke. They are the only set of people who brag about foolish things, something others have achieved and moved on quietly. In the end, na una go still use your airport by yourself. This is the same attitude they brought to APGA. APGA could have become a party for the southeast just like APC in Southwest, but no other state wants to be associated with their gragra and mess. Insulting everyone and bragging like illiterates. If truly you travel by air, you should know that practically ALL flights were fully booked to the southeast including portharcourt and Asaba. it is christmas, people are coming back. It is not particular to the anambra airport 2 Likes 1 Share |

Esseite: You can imagine. That "emergency slot" came out of very profitable air ticket racketeering that some smart punks have been cashing out from for ages. Nothing like fully booked. Go to Air Peace counter at the airport and you're guaranteed a ticket same day or next day if you can pay the steep price. N120k for economy. Choi. Meanwhile I don't know why Eastern routes are so expensive. Abuja-Lagos-Abuja you cna still see N25k-N27k. 2 Likes |

okwadatigbogal: Lack of exposure my friend, it's worse on Twitter & Facebook.. talking about how Asaba airport will turn to garage & how Enugu own will become comatose the moment their own kicks off, & how Lagos airports will loose over half of their traffic the moment Anambra airport begins international flights... These are grown ass men talking. Even if you want celebrate yourself, can't you do it without talking down on others? Or dropping fake statistics? Very funny lots. 4 Likes |

michlins: "Obviously you guys are looking at it from "bragging rights" angle and not sound economy decision." Good evening, this caught my attention. Please Anambra having an International airport is appropriate okay Looking at it economically, that airport will surely thrive unless it will be sabotage for political or security reasons. Still talking about economy viability, Gombe, Bauchi, Kastina etc have airports. In Bauchi, i wanted to go to Maiduguri, i didn't fly straight from Bauchi to Maiduguri but i flew to Abj, from Abj back to Maiduguri. Most of the states in Nigeria that have airports will not stand Anambra airport in terms of economic viability. Let me also remind you that PHC, Bayelsa, Akwa ibom, Cross River all have airports but to you, Anambra airport is unnecessary. The airport is not even a federal project but Anambra state project. Some of the airports i listed here were built by the federal government and some of them are not doing well economically (pls go to Abubakar Ballewa airport Bauchi you will appreciate Anambra state okay). 4 Likes |
