That clown is an envious bitter fellow, he is threatened and jittery because Anambra international airport has come to dominate the Eastern Nigeria as the best airport in the region and also the international gateway to the Eastern Nigeria

what you're writing is for the two major ethnic nations ( Igbo and Yoruba ) in the south to key into and bring into reality..

it is wrong to think that someone of a different ethnicity wants what's good for another person from another ethnicity...

it will be better if the SE first builds a railway connecting all the SE states together, the same for the SW to build railway connecting all the SW states together before thinking about building from one ethnic nation to another ethnic nation.

My friend (1+1=2) ;
Think about the economic strength ,wealth and employments that a railway line; from Lagos to Onitsha; will create; and calculate, the profit and employments opportunities, that a railway line, from Kano to Maradi ,will create;then you have your answer.
Thank you.

This number is just for two Airlines alone, as a matter of fact January flight are fully booked and BTW the two Airlines are Indigenous owned... Air Peace and United Nigeria Air are both owned by Anambra people.

Anambra has far better infrastructure than enugu and imo states. Enugu for instance doesn't even have portable drinking water. So what do they need airport for?

Anambra is the most viable state in igboland and needs the airport more than every other state.

Today it is proven that the airport is the most viable in Nigeria aside Abuja and Lagos international airports.

So airports in enugu and imo should be closed immediately to save money.

Anambra has the best road networks and portable drinking water.

doing that number in a single day..

The number is equivalent to about
130 passengers a day. Like one luxury bus.

E be like say Amaka dem no wan

One said its now the most viable besides Lagos and Abuja. 130 passengers per day is now the third most viable grin grin.

Because you buffoon airports, sea ports and major roads are properties of the federal government. But why would you know that? This is a spirit airport with imaginary passengers you are waiting for ipob airport. Ungrateful lot.
That airport was built by the state govt.

When we are discussing Niger bridge, you can come out.

Upon restricting the type (Size) of flight operating in the airport, the airport still recovers grandbreaking traffic.
Imagine what will happen when bigger and cargo flights start landing and taking off there

Anambra is just unstoppable

Anambra people and creating bad blood wherever they go. Just look at the comments and understand why there will never be unity in igboland. Because of airport, some people are behaving like bush fowls and insulting everyone. Someone has even bragged that it's the best airport after Lagos and Abuja.. what a joke. They are the only set of people who brag about foolish things, something others have achieved and moved on quietly.
In the end, na una go still use your airport by yourself. This is the same attitude they brought to APGA. APGA could have become a party for the southeast just like APC in Southwest, but no other state wants to be associated with their gragra and mess. Insulting everyone and bragging like illiterates. If truly you travel by air, you should know that practically ALL flights were fully booked to the southeast including portharcourt and Asaba. it is christmas, people are coming back. It is not particular to the anambra airport

Over 142 flights in a month is decent for a new airport.
To be fair, those numbers are better than anywhere else outside Lagos and Abuja.

And it has to do with disposable income.

Kano airport with their billionaires don't have those numbers.
Too many poor people.

using the airports in Enugu, Asaba and Imo states is an economic decision. Anambra can use the funds to put in place do many other needed infrastructure and keep growing the state GDP. Obviously you guys are looking at it from "bragging rights" angle and not sound economy decision.

That's why many fail in business. Take advantage of opportunities presented by others and grow.

Your opinion is not needed.
Our airport is already on ground, recording maximum impressive figures .
That's what is important pained ass

Anambra needs pipe born water system, many of the roads need repairs. I can list tons of areas the funds will be invested in and it will benefit not just the rich but every single person in Anambra

No nobody handed him anything to him, both Airlines that are enjoying this period are Anambra people. Air peace and United Nigeria Air are both Anambra State people... Thou he's among the prominent people that championed it and you expect Anambra State to leave him behind in support of another person that's not from the State. BTW Obijackson also deal on chopper as well infact he has one of the best Fleets on modern choppers than any chopper leasing company in Nigeria.

This is quite impressive.
In my opinion, the true traffic of passengers through the airport will be determined after this traveling season between mid December to mid January.

That not withstanding, all the other airports in the region will continue to have their share of passengers. After all, the airports in Cologne- Bonn and Dusseldorf in Germany, though in the same federal state, still operate independently.

There could be another airport in Enyimba city in the future. For goodness sake, ndi Igbo are over 50 million people and counting. Egbe belu, Ugo belu. Ije awele Ka anyi na ayo Olisa!!
Dont forget, Ebonyi airport is still loading

If they have had airports for years and they can't even match the anambra numbers, then it is disgraceful that the FG did not build an airport in anambra all this while.

That is exactly what ipob have been saying.
The so called marginalisation.

It's has also been proven that the lagos-onitsha or Lagos-calabar railway route is the most lucrative route in the country.

Even more lucrative than lagos-ibadan.

But No, let us build a rail to Maradi, first.

[b]Those numbers are better than moribund airports especially in the North, but definitely not PHC, KAN, ASABA, UYO or Owerri.
Let's stop this sentimental stupidit*[

As a Rivers man, that figure is what Rivers State record in 2-3 months, while Owerri records such figures in about 6 months.
