Lisicki Vs Bartoli is actually shaping to be a decent game. I hope all d other ladies q-finals are as good. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by montelik(m): 3:25pm On Jun 28, 2011 |
Spoke too soon. Bartoli looks dead on her feet in d final set. Could well be a love set at this rate |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by A40(m): 3:44pm On Jun 28, 2011 |
baby-boy:, On the contrary Sanchez Vicario was the biggest thorn in her side Sabbatini too . Martina Hingis to Serena? Even Graf? That's a treasonable Felony. Who are the players now sef that woulda been competition for Steffi? Save for Serena. Abeg oh no compare that Golden era of female tennis to the sham WTA is now abi how would players like Jankovic or Wozniacki even get rated in That era? Talking about the balls used if Steffi could serve upwards of 110mph then surely she woulda been able to serve at a higher speed with this new ball |

That gal is fit!! look at her legs well proportioned and well toned! Sabine Lisick |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by harmeenut: 3:53pm On Jun 28, 2011 |
Good one there for Sabine Lisicki. I dont have problem with a new dude coming to challenge the existing order as we have in female tennis now but my problem is with their consistency. You have Li Na for french, probably another new comer except Sharapova shows up and another one Aussie. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by harmeenut: 1:24pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
if there's a competition for the most look-alike in the world, JW Songa will be no 1 with Muhammad Alli - 3 much resemblance. Will that save against Baba Twins. Only time will tell |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by montelik(m): 2:45pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Tomic is giving Novak a few problems. Meanwhile Roger looks in total control against Tsonga . |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by montelik(m): 3:26pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Looks like Tsonga might just drag this out to 5 sets after dropping d first 2. Great game. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by emofine(f): 3:30pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
^^ I sincerely hope it's not dragged onto a 5 setter game even though I am also a fan of Tsonga - I just want Federer to breeze into the finals off topic: Tsonga holds a small resemblance to former boxing champion Muhammed Ali |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by montelik(m): 3:47pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Is d comeback on? Tsonga takes d 4th set and we go to a 5th deciding set. I didn't think he had it him. Come on Jo. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by tubabie(f): 3:48pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
The match is phenomenal, I do hope Jo wins this final set. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by tubabie(f): 3:53pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Tsonga is just setting the pace and Federer reacting!!! |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by montelik(m): 3:55pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Novak manages to get past Tomic in 4 sets. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by montelik(m): 3:57pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Tsonga already a break up. He might just do it |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by tubabie(f): 4:00pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Tomic gave Djokovic quite a scare, cos Tomic was fighting for every point and experience was critical in helping Djokovic. Tomic's time will come anyway soon. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by tubabie(f): 4:06pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
montelik: 'Just keeping my fingers crossed and enjoying the game!! 'Cos Roger's coming out with his wicked serves now. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by Nobody: 4:07pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
OMG common Tsonga you can do it sweetheart. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by DisGuy: 4:10pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
First time I'm seeing Tsonga play without loosing concentration!! Some powerful serves!! |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by emofine(f): 4:16pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
As an avid Federer fan this is so painful for me to watch Oh well, at least Djokovic is through the semis |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by TeeJay6(m): 4:19pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Old Roger is dead And gone to his grave Hm, ha, Gone to his grave They planted an apple tree Over his head Hm, ha, Over his head |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by tubabie(f): 4:20pm On Jun 29, 2011 |

Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by Iysayah(m): 4:29pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Now time to watch my boy Rafa Djoko waiting for us (hmmm), we will see about that. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by harmeenut: 4:34pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
i hereby renounce my membership as Fed's fan until he wins another GS. Haba, this is so disgusting. Do we call this over confidence or what? each time he loses against Rafa, Djokovic or any top seed, he has more often than not been in front. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by montelik(m): 4:40pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
I am a disappointed as a huge Federer fan, but I won't compain cos Tsonga is my 2nd favorite player. Roger will be back. But for now that was a splendid performance from Jo. I just hope d semis are as good as quarters so far. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by Iysayah(m): 4:42pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
harmeenut:He is probably in that final phase all accomplished athletes get to, so dont take the shine from him. he is still the best to grace the Wimbledon, Roland Garros etc. His technique is unequalled. Age just seems not to do justice to him anymore. i still respect it, his opponents still respect him too. One thing i am sure of is he will win another GS. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by FOD(m): 4:54pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Congrats to Tsonga. But can he stop Djokovic from being number one? |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by A40(m): 5:37pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Tee_Jay:Hahahaha |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by Nobody: 6:05pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
FOD:Why are you worrying abt Novak? Lets see how anyone can knock Nadal off the number one position. LOL Nadal will stay at number1 for a while. |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by question(m): 6:10pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Why does Nadal carefully set 2 water bottles at a particular angle during his matches? Does anyone know? |
Re: Tennis: Wimbledon 2011 by A40(m): 6:25pm On Jun 29, 2011 |
Iysayah:I strongly doubt that as his stranglehold has been broken on all surfaces |
