There is nothing like certain amount to declare before entering the UK for student visas.
Normally on entering the Visa, I think the limit you cannot exceed is 10k GBP for entering.
They don't really ask about that.

Do they mean my WASSCE original certificate? As I don’t have it with me and I am in a different state

Or can I just send the GCE result I presented earlier during the application process and attach my scratch card pin ?

I want to confirm, can I add my baby as a dependent and then move him over to the UK after 1yr in a two year msc course? If yes, during visa application do I need extra pof for him even tho he's joining me later?

Try your school's website you should swe your faculty members and maybe their email. It is a long shot but no other option right now

I be jnr but let me drop my one kobo. After one yr your Pof should be deemed used. So, I dont think you need to add right now. Work on it closer to the application. Just make sure the baby applies to join you when theres enough time not quarter to graduate.

Holy spirit is the only one that knows this right now. There are a lot of form A requests pending as students are trying to beat deadline right now but a few people have recommended globus

In terms of advantage to you, PTA allows you buy foreign currency at cbn rate of say 415naira to 1 usd as against the black market rate of maybe 580 naira to 1 usd. In this way you avail yourself more foreign currency for cheaper.
So with 580k with aboki you’ll get 1000usd, with pta application and then approval with same 580k you will get 1400usd. Extra 400 usd for same worth of naira.
The FG only allows individuals this opportunity after certain criteria are met such as return ticket, trip outside west africa with more than 5 hours flight time etc. it’s a cost saving mechanism if u have naira to exchange to dollar or pounds for ur travel.

Pardon the confusion. Must here is relative - it was used to convey the importance of the situation. I should have typed "should ideally" since this is advisory.

The dependant won't have access to "free" (subsidised) NHS services since IHS is not paid for visas that are 6 months or less. What if something happens and your dependant needs healthcare? The bill might be crippling and end up being more than the yearly IHS.

Also, coming too close to when the main applicant puts in an application for the graduate visa might raise flags as to the timing. You need to have lived together for some time before the application - this shows genuineness and doesn't come across as arranged. Coming few weeks to the visa end date might raise some doubts around being genuinely married except there are genuine reasons for this.

If you plan to arrive less than 6 months to the end of the main applicant's visa and for some reason, UKVI delays your application or other circumstances beyond your control happen, it means that you might not arrive before your partner has to put in an application for the graduate visa which may see you living without your partner for the better part of 2 years, in the absence of a work visa. If you're not in the UK as a dependant prior to the application, you won't be able to apply as a dependant.

Some HRs also don't have a strong grip of immigration rules and it might be difficult to get a job (if you want one as a dependant) because 1. You don't have a BRP (even with BRP, some of them still errorneously delay employment checks because it's not a situation that they are used to and 2. The short duration on the visa might deter some employers (the ones who will employ you will do so irrespective of the hurdles).

So to avoid stress and plenty "explanations" or last minute issues, better to join earlier.

Please note that each application is different and is subject to the ECO's discretion.
