For you not to know this means you’ve got to do some googling for knowledge. I can mention at least ten examples of two different types of vehicles from two different types of manufacturers that share the same drivetrains

This one you posted also looks like that of a Prado (can't remember which particular model). It looks like Kantanka, Prado and Innoson Ikenga. Ford Escape & Lincoln MKX look similar, Rolls Royce Phantom & Geely GE, Chrysler PT Cruiser & Chevrolet HHR, Aston Martin DB9 & Ford Fusion etc


As for the engine, not all car manufacturers produce their own engines. The engines of some models of our beloved Mercedes Benz, for example, is produced by Force Motors or by Renault.

The only plausible explanations is that the chinese company is a parent company to innoson and is the one supplying innoson with all the major components he is using to make his cars

We remembered vividly, this interview by the Chairman of Innoson Group recently........

Innocent Chukwuma, Chairman, Innoson Group of Companies Nigeria limited, says the federal government, under President Muhammadu Buhari, has given enormous patronage and support to his firm, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM).

Mr Chukwuma made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Nnewi, Anambra.

He also named Enugu, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Imo, Kogi, Anambra, Gombe, and Bauchi as well as Nigeria military among the states buying Innoson vehicles.

Mr Chukwuma further told NAN that if patronage is given to his firm, it could transform Nigeria into a vehicle manufacturing hub in Africa in no distant time.

“I can say that Innoson vehicle manufacturing is doing well, especially with the level of patronage and support the company is enjoying under the present federal government, led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
