DannyBillgate: Is this Norther corpus or Southern Cyprus. Southern Cyprus mad oooh. They almost denied me entry when I went for vacation there in 2018 if not that I work in the company where the consulate is located. I have to call my boss then who's from Greek, he call ministry of internal affairs that my visa is genuine after 4hours delay, that was how I was allowed entry. That was what gave me edge in UK application approval. |

alert20: Me telling you the amount won't do it justice. What you should be enquiring about is how to arrive at a reasonable amount to use as salary with regards to the application especially in view of rising pound sterling to naira exchange on oanda. This has been a six month plan you see but when I settle down this night I go give you the finances trick to use. 1 Like |

Funny enough, Uk does not look at your opening balance , there are more concerned about normalised account structure that has not got too much cash inflows. I always advise people to have a special/separate account to use for Visa Applications. Eco's do not like to see all those irregularities. Two news were quite captivating over the weekend, the first one was that of the Proposed UK government clamp down on Nigerian Student bringing their relatives to the Uk via study route and Immigration service Proposed plan to Use Nipost to deliver passport to our respective locations in Nigeria. My assessment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is that they have made some giant strides, more importantly with the newly harmonised e passport that gives a standard term of 10 years validity. And also with the policy of recipocration that allows for countries to extend validity periods for visas , just as it has recently been effective in the case of US. 2 Likes |

Does anyone have a link to Nigerian high commission here in Uk, i went for my biometric captioning since March hoping to get the passport back since last week, but on tracking it, it still not ticked the NIN stage. can someone please help me on what to do, or if you've encountered such what did you do to solve it. |

LOVELYnessbynat:If you applied for a 10yrs validity it will take like 3 months to be dispatched to you. But if itβs a 5 yrs validity passport, you supposed to get it within 2 to 3 weeks. I did mine last year and itβs 2 weeks I received it, 5yrs though 1 Like |

Good day all, Visa issued. So I have been a silent reader here and i promised myself once i get this visa, i will talk about it. I have had history of travelling to the UK 3 times in the past, so when I wanted to travel this year during my leave, i just put all documents together and submitted, please note: i did not put any strong explanation of my account statement, in my head i was thinking, i have had a us visa, France and uae. Alas, i was rejected, omo i was shocked when i got the mail. Though everything was explained in details. 1. my account was too confusing, money paid in was not explained and the source 2. my company accounts had huge lodgements and no explanation either 3. my company was reading inactive on the CAC platform i was just weak, but i was prompted to apply again. The first was for 2 years so after just 3 weeks i applied again, but this time i was prepared. paid off my cac remittals, it read active again, i explained in details all my transactions both personal and company. I uploaded every documents i could get my hands on, both necessary and unnecessary. My letter of explanation was 5 pages, citing topics and sub topics with document backing which included id card, intro letter, all contract documents with vendors, waybills, invoices,LPO,Marriage cert, birth cert of kids, company policy book, statement personal and company, payslips, leave letter. i had my biometric on the 5th may, tls mail came in on the 15th may even though i paid for priority 2 years visa granted for me 6 months for my 2 year old daughter. Thank you to everyone here 7 Likes |

Good morning gurus in the house, please I need to know my chance of getting a 2years Visa. I run my personal business registered with CAC for close to 2 yrs now. Must I include a tax clearance receipt in my application? Also I was denied UK Student Visa in 2009 do I need to indicate that as it is over 10 year? Or better still can someone help with what and what I will be attaching to get a better chance. |
