It can be a gift, inheritance, auction sale, compensation, etc. So far as the car is registered lawfully according to the FRSC, [b]what concerns police with how the car was obtained? [/b]The proper point of investigation is not even during registration of the vehicle in the man's name: it's when the (allegedly) fraudulent funds were put into the man's account.
