Nigeria has a population of ~200 million and almost 50% live in poverty. By 2050, our population will rise to 400 million. Guess what the poverty level would be? We elect the same leaders, looting is still in full effect, rising unemployment levels, leaders are still being voted for on the grounds of ethnicity rather than proficiency. The actions that landed us in this mess are still being practiced. It is insanity to do the same thing repeatedly and expect a different result. What are the metrics you can look at and say "For sure, this country is getting better?" I'll wait. |
