Chinmark initially said it will make payments before end of 19th March 2022.

It has failed in it's obligation and has issued a ridiculous statement to buy more time.

He is blaming SEC for freezing the bank account but the said bank account doesn't have substantial amount that can pay it's partners.

This is just another Ponzi scheme built to fail.

Many invested 1 million, 10 million, 20 million, 30 million, etc

Honestly the easiest people that can be deceived in the world are Nigerians. They never learn from one misfortune or the other. This is what politicians are capitalizing on.

Even in this case of government incompetence.

Since Civil War, Igbo have never ruled Nigeria or dominated the civil service. Whatever blame should be passed to rest of you people.
You made your country a Zoo so deal with it, let Igbos get their Biafra

Please go ahead and get your Biafra. No one is standing in the way except the Igbos/Ibos/Igbos. As a matter of fact, the rest of us Nigerians want you to go and we will roll out a red carpet for you. Igbo Amala!! Igbo Kwedu!!!

Am not a Chinmark investor nor was I an MMMnite. But I observed Chinmark was doing very well until I think SEC brought panic in investors by its official statement. That kind of business operates on invested capital pulled from different people with different maturity dates. Once investor begins to demand their funds back, the business won't survive the shock, that's what I think Chinmark is experiencing. For instance no bank will survive if all of a sudden all or a significant number of it's account holders begin to claim their entire funds in the bank.

Which business was Chinmark actually doing?

Nigerians never learn

Don't put your money anywhere if its not a bank

If you want to invest,, learn about it thoroughly and invest for yourself

But why is it that Nigerians never learn....is there something fundamentally wrong with people to the extent that they are unconsciously drawn toward all these ponzi schemes.

I don't know why you are surprised.
The average Nigerian is very corrupt, and believes that he can scam other Nigerian and go Scot free.
One of the victims of MMM boasted to me that he knew that it was a pyramid scheme. But he thought he will make it big before other Nigerians realise it. But alas, he failed woefully and lost 500,000 naira.

You have a myopic view of Nigerians. They are not scammed because they are innocent, they are scammed because they are very corrupt. They know the scheme (scam) is a pyramid type. But they want to cash in and out early to make it before it crashes.
Don't ever blame Politicians for deceiving Nigerians. A lot of Politicians are scammed by Nigerians while campaigning, but the stories are kept secret. At least I know a newbee politician, who lost over 30 million naira to scammers while campaigning.

A Facebook user who has dragged Chinmark online issued warning to his investors not to fall prey into a post dated cheque.

Maazi Ogbonnaya Okoro II

Dear Investors,
Do not sign any ru.bbish Memorandum of Understanding with Chinmark to give you post dated cheque to be cashed 8 months time. Do not sign it.
You are selling yourself for nothing.

It is better you stay your ground, fight for your money if you can or forget about it, if you can. Chinmark doesn't have any viable business. The few ọkada he used to cover up logistics, their number no dey go again.

The hotel in Enugwu, which we bursted and you guys insulted us, doesn't belong to him legally, anymore.
He has made someone the director and withdrew himself completely. You have no right or claim over the hotel. He used your money to build it. But you can't access it. I and others alerted you on time, but you guys thought it's witch-hunting.

Chinmark cannot account for billions he squandered.
He is a crimi.nal.
Are you guys now seeing why I dedicated months to
drag him non-stop? Have you seen why I don't spare
him.

Chinmark is a th.ief.
There are many things about him you guys don't
know. And will never know. Ekperima ọjọọ. Hé planned everything.
So, do not waste your time signing any rubbish with him.
Ose Karịrị N'anụ Kanda.
I paused.
