He was never part of the problem. During his time as the minister of power there was increase in power supply and it was felt by everyone.but the evil system won't allow him stay for so long. Evil cabals that needs to be eliminated in this country.

He was then putting together the privatization of NEPA when some cabals in Jonathan government and Electricity Workers moved against him. They accused him of being interested in the purchase of Enugu Distribution Company and he was forced to leave Jonathan government. Ajaero knows the story better.

Now that Prof Nnaji have found permanent solution to Aba Light-On,by By- Passing the Fraudulent National Grid,we de watch,who go de damage the Gas- Pipeline or blow it up?
Those govt appointees, are part of the Corruption,as they are not ready and willing to step on shoes of the wicked once in Power Sector,because Corruption is thriving in these Govt Institutions like Gemco and DISCOS!

•This is what the Chinese are using in China to generate about 135,000 Megawatts Light to their Communities!

•What are the State Governments doing with all the Homongous NBILLIONS,if not NTrillions in their States?

To summarize the three into one:

Nigeria needs a leader with a very strong political will to clear the cobwebs of mess in electricity sector.

Nigeria already have the capacity to generate over 30000mw. The complete structure is there.

Problem is

1. Lack of Gas supply to these structures.

2. Structures to transmit the 30000mw is not there. The little left is worn out and can only carry about 3-5000mw.

3. Vandalism.

4. Fraud in metering.


Solution..

1. Until the government declares a state of emergency on the power sector, nothing will happen.

The state of emergency should carry death sentence on any sabotage by corrupt officials and same to any vandal.

2. Massive reconstruction of transmission structures across the nation and most importantly strategic industrial communities.

3. Efficient metering. With this, the consumer and supplier gets exactly what is due for them.

But the major problem has always been lack of political will.

The power sector was privatized, you forget that the reason telecom worked is because competent hands were brought in, not cronies, dangote refinery won't work because its based on cronies, not competence just like the power sector.

The above excerpt shows how foolish Nigerian leaders are.
You have capacity to generate 13000 mW but only distribute 5000mw because you lack transmission and distribution facilities. How many transmission companies operate in a large market like Nigeria. What about Distribution companies?/Why not liberalize the market by bringing in more transmission companies to bring in more transmission equipment and more distribution companies to cover wider areas by bringing in more distribution facilities such as transformers to take more electricity. Why only AEDC, Ikeja Disco, Eko disco. Enugu Disco, Jos Disco and few others when one State should be allowed allowed to have as many discos as possible all buying electricity and distributing to their customers. Lagos alone should have more than 10 discos expanding electricity infrastructure in terms of newer lines, transformers etc. So is Abuja, and virtually most states in Nigeria. The era where one company is in charge of giving electricity to 4 or 5 States is criminal and should stop. Unbundle the power sector completely by bringing in new companies that have the funds to take up generation, transmission and distribution. That's the way out of the issue.

The Truth is that those who Owns the DISCOS do travel regularly to other Western Countries and London and Dubai and Israel -they see regular lights but they have no business,in the first place to go and invest in Power-Sector,as they don't have better plans to make it work!
•President Tinubu should know this and unless,he takes a RADICAL CHANGE on Power Sector in Nigeria,no one will invest in Nigeria- without regular Power!
In Fact,more Youths are ready to JAPA,since they can't continue to say the same things over and over again, without significant and drastic change!
Nigerian Past and Present leaders, including the National Assembly ----Senators and House of Reps - are part of this Country problems,since they only smile to the Banks, from time to time!

Barth Nnaji had always said the major challenge is in distribution while he was a minister. It is just unfortunate that the government isn't spending on distribution infrastructures. I remembered him saying the challenge is they keep sending back power from some stations because they don't have adequate resources to distribute and this leads to a loss of 25% to 50%.

In as much as I love Nnaji and can attest to do fat that during his time as the power minister there was improvement in power generation and supply across the country. But I disagree with you that some cabals we are responsible for his resignation because the man chose the future of his company than his job.

We all know that it is against due process for a public office holder to purchase government assets so the prof just to relinquish his position as the power ministry so his company can purchase government power plant
