If GEJ joins APC, that just justifies my decision not to vote for PDP, or ANPP, CPC and APC since 1999. It shows that both sides are the same, and neither is interested in developing this country.

See the GEJ supporters who are all happy about GEJ being the candidate of a party they were, not too long ago, calling Islamic party. Honestly, I really hate Nigerian politics. People shamelessly jump from one house to the other.

Tomorrow now, Tinubu is going to move to PDP, and would Tinubu supporters be happy about that.

Plus why is Buhari contemplating handing over to a man he was abusing in 2014?

If GEJ joins APC to contest, it will be a politics of personality versus structure once again and this wont solve Njgeria's problems. But i we can all be sure that 1. ASUU strike wont be as frequent and prolonged as it currently is....
2. The herdsmen/bandits/boko haram issues wont go unchecked as it currently is
3. the impunity in stealing/corruption and wanton mismanagement we currently witness willl reduce.
4. There will be a return of some modicum of sanity in Nigeria's polity.... starting from the calibre of people who will be appointed as ministers and etc.
5. Nigeria's image will be boosted internationally, both within ECOWAS and on other continents.
6. Southern Nigerian crude oil theft will reduce as these guys will be better settled without having to blow up pipelines and destroy the environments.
6. there will be some ease in Nigeria's economy...ease of doing business.... we can at least expect policy reversals if the impacts prove to stringent on the masses
7. we can expect a jump in FDI thus strengthening the naira
8. the east will have to cooperate with him so that he can help position them appropriately to play more competitively when Buni is done.... even if for a vice presidential slot in the worst case..... nothing bad if the east can get VP slot on both parties in the subsequent elections

My major fear is just that if this will only be for four years....after which he will have to hand over to another northerner....
1. If these yeye people sense him to be too weak.... they may not still let him operate freely within that time...
2. knowing that his time is short....getting their cooperation and respect may not be easy....because they'll see him as just a placeholder....
3. they may become more open with their manhandling of other tribes and no one will be able to complain afterall your maN IS THE ONE AT THE CENTRE....
4. should he decide solve Nigeria's problems once and for all, he will have to be ready to face powerful men some of who are part of the crew that will facilitate his emergence.


In all, I think a GEJ presidency is a necessary douse on all these tensions on the country at the moment.
lets just pray that he doesn waste this opportunity, given that he now has more experience.

You can expect the likes of NOI.....Akinwumi Adesina...OBJ...etc to want to work with him and assist him succeed....

May God prosper this our dear country as we all have no other one

No presidential primary will ever be consensus, buhari is a mere party member that was helped into position of presidency, remarked that in 2014 apc presidential candidate was to be by consensus zoned to the north, but Kwankwaso and Atiku still contested against him. Buhari can't push his luck too far. If it is Christianity card, Jonathan can't be more Christian than Osinbajo. Jonathan has no chance in apc.

It's a lie. They're just flashing the report again and again. Jonathan is not a member of APC and as such all these are rumors.

If Buhari tries it then there won't be APC before the election and it will be a free ticket for PDP.

I just hope PDP will pick a southerner too so that the south can enjoy its 8 yrs and not 4 yrs they're alleged to be planning.

How can you bring someone 2 months to primary election and you want everybody to accept him as the party candidate?

What happened to those that have been in the party funding it since 2013?

And, if what is morally wrong cannot be politically right, what was the moral behind the gang up against Jonathan in 2015 that led to his defeat?

Fulanis in APC should not allow there hunger for return of power to push them to take such step. Except Baba want to conduct the burial ceremony of the party before leaving.
