The Foundational Problem of many homes today, is that the Couples did not take time to Hear from GOD on the Choice of a life partner. GOD will never force you on a matter. But also understand that when the repercussions comes, you will take whatever comes with it.

I know Born again Believers, who married by sight, went their own ways in marriage and they are in Crisis today. Some were not patient enough to seek GOD, others outrightly went against GOD'S Choice for them.

Let me say this. This is a true life event of someone I know.
A young brother, loves the Lord, Born-again and working for Christ. He is also a Professional in his chosen profession. He wanted to get married and GOD was speaking on who he should marry. My beloved brother thought otherwise. His eyes was on a young pretty lady in the church. He went ahead and got married to his Choice.

Less than a year after marriage, our young beautiful sister, left our beloved brother, travelled out of the country and got married to someone else.

My beloved brother is completely lost. Knowing the word of GOD, he cannot remarry. This is how a young man's marital life is Shattered for going his own way.

I Believe in his mind, he will be praying
O Lord touch my wife to return . Or
O Lord kill her , so I can remarry. grin grin

But you know what! GOD specially preserves this kind.

My advice to people is this; Until you are ascertained and Sure that you Heard GOD, do not Marry. Because GOD is only Committed to what He gives.

Most of what you've posted is correct and in correlation with the doctrine of the Bible, but it's disappointing that you posted a falsehood.
Maybe you did it in ignorance, but it's disappointing because being someone who posts only about the word of God you should know the facts of divorce in Christianity.

In Matt 19:9 for instance Jesus teaches that a man can divorce his wife when she's unfaithful. She abandoned her marriage to your friend and travelled abroad to go marry someone else.
Your friend wouldn't be going against Jesus' teaching if he divorces her.

Pls always get your facts right before posting about God's teachings.

What's your source of information on this so-called mystery please? Who told you that good people don't end up together? Don't be too comfortable with your "true self" if you know that it is mostly characterized with negative traits. Commit to work on yourself before you can attract a partner who is willing to help you grow. It's okay to have some weaknesses as humans but it should not overshadow your strengths. Don't expect anyone to fall in love with you simply because you're "bad" undecided

(1) Adultery, Matthew 5:32
(2) Abandonment, 1Corrintians 7:15

It's very dangerous to marry a man or woman based on physical appearance or riches alone.

Unless God gives you a detailed revelation about him or her stay cool.

Some intending couples do go on days fasting and praying to know God's mind on their spouses. It's a very important spiritual exercise.

Yeah, some do that, but still turn out unfortunate.. Such is life.

Some are destined to be fortunate in marriage whole some have to suffer misfortunes, as part of their karma.
