It's a good piece of advice but a hard decision to make. I had a gf who would leave her fiancee to meet me in Lagos and spend days. Her fiancee would think she truly went to see her friend. There's a lot of inevitable reasons which would not make you leave your ex just like that. Not all relationships end in fight or irreconcilable differences.
