This is what the law says. It is your responsibility to protect your daughter and disregard that perverted law in your home. You're right. The age of consent in Nigeria is 18, although that figure is also debated based on your geographical region.

From a moral point of view, I do not think that even an 18 or 20 year old girl or boy should be allowed to have sex. But that's just a view, not the reality today.
