Did it say anything about presidency? If u couldn't interpret what u read, then what research are u referring to?

Too many secondary school pupils on nairaland.

What he meant is that....let assume or agree he is paying 100m for the job...
The job is all encompassing...he is not paying just to be the president. Being the president comes with other ad-ons...he is paying to be the commander in chief and the controller of the entire "presidency" aside collecting salary.

And in your mind Presidency of the most populous black nation is a single Job

If only you knew how many individual appointments makes up Presidency perhaps you might rethink

But then this is Africa, simple research we won't do, we just like to rant and wail everytime

.

You haven't justified the above question. You as well did nothing but rant as well. Stop using argumentum ad hominem.

I'm not sorry to say this: I'm ashamed at the way you keep defending this government despite you know the truth. Now, I know better, we are just the replica of people we choose to represent us.

Perhaps my point came out wrongly because the guy I responded to had being dragging me to similar threads and I have tried my possible best to enlighten him that electioneering process is expensive all over the world... I wasn't trying to gaslight him

I once analysed why Political Parties need funding, and their current revenue streams

Pardon me for boring you with the details which I know you understand, but for the sake of clarity let me state it again

APC only has three source of revenue generation to Carter for its expenditures and that is

I: sales of nomination forms for all positions
II: payment of party membership fees and levy
III: Donations to the party by members and Foreign donor agencies

Expenditure of Party includes
I: Payment of staff salary accross 774 LGA party secretariat 36 state and one party headquarters
II: Periodic Advertisement, Publications and Banners,
II: Hotel cost and Logistics of party members during campaigns
III: Payment of party agent and election observers accross all polling unit

To give a cost estimate to some of this

*AIT sells live broadcast 1 hour primetime for ₦10,000,000 same as TVC, Arise and Channels on the day of convention Atleast they are to pay two stations apart from NTA

*Front Page of a daily newspaper coloured advert starts from ₦5,000,000 and Weekend goes as high as ₦8,000,000

MrOON:
The annual Salary of the President of Nigeria is N14058820.00k.

In 4 years, it would be N56,235,280.00k.

So why would anyone apply for a Job with N100M just to earn N56,235,280.00k

The American President is paid an annual salary of circa $400k. Why do American presidential aspirants have to raise close to $500mln for the election campaign.

If APC presidential aspirant is believable, connected and supported nationally, he should be able to raise at least N250mln for the first phase of his campaign, of which the nomination form of N100mln can be deemed to be part.

University doctoral student, can u pls explain how president which was mentioned is the same as presidency which u are mentioning?

According to u: "....let assume or agree he is paying 100m for the job...'

Who is the who paying and who is paying 100m for the job and which job are u referring to?

What ad-ons does the job of president come with?

Once again, u saying:
"....he is paying to be the commander in chief and the controller of the entire "presidency" aside collecting salary."

Pls kindly explain what you mean by the "entire presidency"? Who is paying to be the C-in-C? How can the who be paying to be C-in-C and collecting salary at the same time? Can u explain how that works?

Everybody just face apc like they're the only players in the game. PDP EOI form is 40M or so. Is 40M easy to come by? Why would someone spend 40M in one fell swoop for a job of 56M over 4 hectic years? (Assuming the Op's logic is something to go by) partisan politics anywhere on God's green earth and ALL it's participants are fvcking corrupt . All we want are strong independent institutions that would keep players on their toes and make them deliver to the people. APC and PDP are one, same corrupt festering, cesspool.
