There is a rumour that in the coming days the GAC which is the highest apex body in lagos state politics will announce that 95% of the house of assembly members and house of rep members will be returned to their respective offices. The problem with this decision is that some aspirants have waited 12years, some 16 years, while some have even waited longer. While It is true that as a member of the house of reps or assembly you have the constitutional mandate to contest as many times as you want, People are wondering which real impact have these people made to their respective constituencies. A lot of Apc aspirants feel that the GAC members have been bribed by these people who have amassed so much wealth from packing the bus in the state and the lower house. Some people feel if Asiwaju is asking for a level playing field in the presidential primaries then why is the GAC practicing the consensus arrangement in Lagos state. Many aspirants have been coerced to step down for people who have done nothing and have over stayed their welcome. The normal practice in the party is that you do 2 terms if you are doing fine, but if you are really doing well, then you stay longer for the sake of continuity. Two notable members that will be used as examples are Desmond (Olushola) Elliot and Gbolahan Yishawu. Desmond (Olushola) Elliot is the house of assembly member representing surulere1 and he will be completing his 2nd term this dispensation. He is now saying he is bibire and he deserves a 3rd term and all aspirants have been told to step down for him. Pls what has desmond done for the people of surulere, he is the worst member they have ever had. The only people you can see coming in and out of his office are women of all shape and sizes. I almost forgot about how he has commissioned some foot bridges, this man should be allowed to go back to his acting and free the people of surulere of his incompetence. Gbolahan Yishawu is the house assembly representing Eti-osa 2 which comprises of Ikoyi and parts of VI. He will be completing his 3rd term this dispensation and he decided to go for a fourth. Ask him for the most notable thing he has done in the house and he will tell you that he was the person that made sure ambode did not come back for 2nd term as governor. Gbolahan Yisawu is so arrogant and disrespectful to the point that all his initial friends are no longer on speaking terms with him. When jide akinloye was the assembly member and gbolahan yishawu was contesting to be a member, he said it was wickedness for jide akinloye to be asking for 3rd term after serving 8 years, but he can now swallow his vomit by now asking for 4th term after he is about to complete 12 years. Many more stories like this in other areas and Asiwaju needs to know that what is good for the goose is also good for the gander. GAC should let democracy reign, how can people who claim to be progressives behave like that. As Asiwaju ask's for primaries to test his strength then Asiwaju should take his structure back and demand that lagos party members should be allowed to test their strength. This will go along way in unifying the party because a lot of people are ready to sabotage the structure at all levels because they are feeling disenfranchised and cheated.
Lagos belong to the Lagos not tinubu no body need permission from him you people just giving him that thing like I'm the Bose just Kick his ass he will do nothing

You left the message to type rubbish.
If tinubu return to osun state we won't remember him.

You came to kill democracy in Lagos.

@op it's everywhere in Lagos now, it has been like that for years.
I remember when bibire was a commissioner in oto-awori lcda , he did alot of thing that people were happy and praising him.
2019 election he wanted to go for house of assembly , one MC boy decide to contest the primary with him claiming stronger influence from tinubu/MC .
They rough handle the primary and turned it to violence attacking bibire people.
After winning they came to apologize and ask the other faction to work as one.

That is how tinubu and MC with GAC has turned Lagos to padi padi government.
It's not by merit it's by anointed candidate that will do their bidding.

Shame on Us .
This has always been the stock in trade of Tinubu in Lagos, he is too overbearing and can never allow free contest. He influences everything in Lagos
Let's how he will APC primaries without the influence of PMB who's the national leader of the party
