Fake news.
Apc may like him to join them but very unlikely they would give him their presidential candidacy.

Apc isn't under any pressure to behave in desperate way.

If he eventually defects and declares, then it’s safe to say that you all overrated him.

This party tinubu coupled to take power from gej must cum to an end

Gej as president would be the perfect gift to repay yorubas for their sophistication on the south

So it’s no more amaechi? If this news becomes reality, then it means both you and the BATists have been conned.

APC will divide if at all he emerges d party candidate that I know is impossible, he just want to stain himself

APC will divide with the ACN group going their way and the CPC group sourcing votes from the SE and SS to enthrone GEJ.

Once again note that the north intends to transmit power to the SE in 2035, after allowing GEJ complete his disputed second term and the north ruling from 2027 - 2035. The SW is definitely out of the calculation for presidency for now.

Who is willing to have a bet?

grin grin grin How will the APC go about walking back all the scandalous things they said about the man. A party with a total lack of credibility is a danger to this country. Former President Jonathan is not the issue, APC is the problem of this country.

It is even more foolishness on the part of GEJ not to be man enough to say No

It is getting clearer now. Actually this is true but the only option given by Goodluck Jonathan is that he will be the concesus candidate. This is the plan of Secretary for care taker committee that made some party members go against him even that angered El Rufai. Anything can happen in politics.

If PDP are serious of getting back to power at the federal level, they should play their game smartly. And, the only way they can win the presidency is to pick Peter Obi if GEJ moved to APC.
If it's Obi vs GEJ, then PDP should be ready to take over aso rock.

BTW, all this politicians doesn't care about us the citizens. I can't imagine GEJ decamping to APC fully aware of northerners game plans.

Why is it the same North that shouted crucifying him' is the one shouting hosanna to Jonathan?
Then, what manner of leaders are Jonathan, Obasanjo and co, after benefitting immensely from PDP and goodwill of Nigerians, getting to the peak of their political carriers on the platform, turned their back on the party and Nigeria?
For 7 years, Nigerians suffered under bad leadership, Jonathan never supported the masses, but for fear and wickedness romanced the power that be.
For what looked like apparent blackmail, he was sheepishly silent and doing the bidding of APC.
Is it not foolishness, or greed that will even make the thought of running for president, and APC for that matter to manifest?

That will be a very wrong and selfish move.
Why will he accept to do only four years and foolishly allow power to go back to the North after 4yrs, thereby surchanging the south of 4yrs rule?
Is he that clueless?
Anyways, he should forget SOuth south votes and SE votes. Maybe he is counting on Northern votes.
He will fail woefully

We will vote for him and he will win,how many votes does south south and south east produce?

You'll be shocked how wrong your assumption is.

Wrong? No.
Selfish? Maybe.

He'll only encounter hiccups if a Southerner gets the ticket of the PDP.

If it boils down to him against Atiku or Saraki I'd go with him, and I believe millions of southerners share this sentiment.

Power going to the north should not be an issue now when South-Westerners willingly gave it away to them in 2015.

Let North Rule forever if that is what it means.

I love the bold part of your comment wink

Check all my comments on politics section, I keep telling Yorubas that GEJ is Buhari and North choice and he will eventually become the president.

I have known this since last year. Go to the North, they are all shouting Jonathan name.
