Please someone should educated this Yoruba man that obasanjo ruled this country with his heart and dedication. What ever your government is enjoying today was introduced by obasanjo. There was relative peace in Nigeria during his tenure. And Nigeria was never this bad. Please adesina should not allow his salary to outway his reasoning.

Parachoko:
Obasanjo didn't do any tangible thing in Nigeria.

List the things he did that affected civilians positively.

He removed elected Governors, soldiers committed crimes against humanity in places like Odi, poor power supply, poor federal roads, elections nko the 2007 Presidential Election is one of the most terrible in Nigeria(even Yardua had to agree the election that brought him in was not free and fair), there was no constitution review

Tell us any meaningful project he carried out.

Nigeria have not been lucky with the leaders we have been electing since 1999.

OBJ set a bad precedent

Are u really sure u are a Nigerian

It surprises me that people in this same administration is vying for Presidency amidst the insecurity, inflation, poverty and high rate of unemployment they've helped spread yet same Nigerians who gnarnish and wail daily are same who are trooping in large numbers to form supporters group just so they could get crumps which would not be able to last them for another 8 years of misery.

Is this man mad.
His government and his boss promised state police as one of their campaign promises, so it's agreed that all previous governments didn't do it but u promised to do it if given the chance. Now, after 7years u r coming to talk baldadash again. Can these people escape the wrath of the creator and the curse of the elements of this world? I doubt it.

Suggesting that creation of state police is the way forward is not a criticism, yet the foolish man (Femi Adesina) is talking as if responding to a criticism. So, because we didn't do the right thing in the past, then we should continue the wrong way. I believe God is regretting creating a man like Femi Adesina.

As much as I dislike this Buhari's government, Femi is right on this one

Whatever OBJ is saying should be done by this government, he should have done it when he was President... He cannot hold someone to a standard different from that which he held himself to when he was President

Just like Buhari, he had the advantage of being President both as a Military man and as a civilian President who spent his full Eight-year Tenure.. So he had exactly the same opportunity Buhari has to fix whatever he is now saying should be fixed, but he didn't sad

Instead he was busy strong-arming people for a 3rd term, and harassing poor Atiku undecided .

That OBJ's harassment has caused Atiku so much PTSD that till date and even in the foreseeable future, Atiku cannot cum grin

Baba should respect his old age and rest... He cannot be a disappointed spectator in the same game where he was once the star player sad

What are you saying ?? He is saying gibberish

Obasanjo did a lot for Nigeria, he never divided Nigeria along ethnic and religious lines, he was a president for all and sundry, the reason nobody agitated for restructuring under him.

The same cannot be said about this government that keeps dividing Nigeria everyday.

Obasanjo was the beginning ofofern democracy he had many issues to resolve and put together than state police or restructuring.

Stop comparing Obasanjo time to ur time it is very very different. Obasanjo would have either created state police on the right format/System or built up the federal police system. if he had more than 8 years to rule.

None of the slow president's we have had after obasanjo cud have done all the things he did to make our democracy and government functional workable.
