Read, read, comprehend, He is the new King. He has to leave politics. That's the right thing to do. Resign from the party. He can't be a senator and be a king at the same time.
You read, comprehend and understand nothing.
He is not the Olubadan but his younger brother.

Is this not the new Olubadan brother? I think Makinde is trying to deny him the return ticket for senatorial so that could be the reason why he left PDP.

Let’s see how it goes for PDP in Oyo state next year. If this guys moves to APC, you’re gonna have three APC senators, let’s see how things play out.

This was the same guy that defeated Ajimobi in 2019.
you think so? Person wey use makinde influence in pdp to win election against ajimobi

Kola Balogun is heading to APC? That’s interesting. What happened between him and Makinde? Is
the new Olubadan finally aligning with APC? If Tegbe picks PDP ticket for the district, can he defeat Kola Balogun who has the backing of the new Olubadan?

This may just be the beginning of Makinde’s downfall.

Influence of who?

Ibadan no send anybody

He can't defeat Tegbe....

Do you know how many APC senators and house of reps members in Oyo state ? The APC almost cleared all the Federal elections.
Seyi Makinde winning the gubernatorial was just as a result of pity votes.
If Tinubu is giving you sleepless nights, you better leave you traffic selling business at Iyana-Iba and go back to Okija shrine for healing.

Seyi won based on numerous factors...

Pity isn't one of it...
But it was mainly based on alliance with major contenders like lanlehin and alli

You can also say spite for Ajimobi

With the spate of defection from PDP in Oyo to other parties, is GSM on his way to becoming a one-term governor?

Yes, Seyi Makinde denied him bcoz of that APC factional chairman (Joseph Tegbe) that crossed to PDP. Makinde has struck an agreement with him (Tegbe) for a term in the Senate after which he (Makinde) will go to the Senate in 2027.

INEC should pass a lake that will restrict political parties into just two....

That way, many people will understand dialogue and how to solve problems without thinking of jumping around from one party to another...

You want to restrict people's freedom to associate and choose at will? You don't know what you are saying.

Imagine Atiku leaving PDP to help Buhari become a president and the. return to PDP to seek for ticket ... Isn't that pure madness?
It is not madness, it's called freedom. That is to tell you that there is no permanent interest.

Sometimes i wonder the necessity of resigning from a party you won election and going to another one .in the name of the ruling party
I think some laws should be made against this

It's already in the new law that once you cross carpet, you automatically lose the elected position you're occupying

Olubadan is Lekan Balogun while

2023 election in Oyo state will be quite interesting, I don't think he Kola Balogun can defeat Tegbe when given the ticket.
Tegbe enjoyed some level of popularity in ibadan .

OYO state APC is still a house divided against itself , Teslim still bossing them .

They might not return 2023, th fact is that people decided to vote Makinde last election some don't even care about other positions.

I knew many who voted pdp for govnoship, Apc for the rest positions. I personally voted that way.

Seyi Makinde fell long time ago

Those who knows real Seyi Makinde will understand he's a very useless & directionless man

Seyi Makinde himself underperformed

Seyi Makinde is owing some state workers salaries presently but will not be shown to some people

Seyi Makinde has grabbed many state owned land & converted it to his personal properties selling it out at outrageous rate

Seyi Makinde has borrowed lots of billions of Naira with no tangible project to show for it

Seyi Makinde relegated his deputy to mere houseboy & upgraded ordinary illiterate agbero to the post of deputy governor

6bn embezzled on terminal

28bn Naira embezzled in the name of streetlight mind you, the street light is no longer working whereas it's just about 6months they installed most of these streetlight

Over 5billion Naira embezzled in the name of renovation of stadium

Many people of Oyo state are awoke and knows the reality

The only problem is that we don't have a formidable opposition party with sensible candidate. APC is not alternative with the likes of Teslim Folarin as possible flag bearer because Teslim will be worse than Seyi Makinde

As for Kola Balogun, the fact remains that he underperformed but that's not the basis why Seyi Makinde hijacked the ticket from him to please Tegbe

Nobody knows Tegbe & Kola Balogun rode to stardom due to people's hatred for Biola Ajimobi

People of Oyo state voted massively for Seyi Makinde not necessarily every one of them hated APC completely but because of Biola Ajimobi

Mukaila Lamidi Auxillary is terrorising Ibadan & come 2023, the people of Ibadan will show Seyi Makinde the stuff they were made of

I doubt if he has such popularity tho. It's open secret that people voted him to spite late Ajimobi by causing electoral upset. If I were the guy, the 4 yrs was enough to do great projects at home and gain the trust of his constituents. But he probably sat down in Abuja with the big boys, thinking political patronage would get him the ticket once again.. The person Makinde trying to give the ticket to, has an impressive profile. He is the current Head of the Advisory Division of KPMG Nigeria - Joseph Tegbe
