Russia’s business is that Ukraine is not just a neighboring country but used to be a part of the Russia federation and no country keeps a hostile neighbor. Pls read about the Cuba missile crisis and come back to me. I’m sure after reading it, you will know why the United States rejected and frustrated Russia’s plan on building a military base in Cuba, a close Neighbor. We can as well ask ‘what was US’s business with Russia forming Alliance and building a military base in Cuba. In summary, what’s happening now in Ukraine or what led to the war in Ukraine now is that USA/NATO are doing what they prevented Russia from doing in Cuba, claiming that Soviet Union should not extend Northwards while they too would not extend Eastward but someone is now reneging on that agreement and some of you think that that someone is the saint here while the other party fighting back is now termed the Villain in this story Once you get yourself conversant with international politics in the nearest future, you will realize why the two countries (US and now Russia) are wary of keeping hostile neighbors

I would have loved to answer all your questions one after the other but it will be too lengthy. The screenshot below should help you understand what’s going on in Ukraine as well as the preamble to the whole humanitarian crisis inflicting this said region. Pls read with open mind and digest well and stop thinking the way some people want you to think. Be a freethinker because that’s what ultimately makes you a higher animal. What USA/WEST/NATO is doing is a typical case of doing to others what you would never accept. Take care and enjoy your day. W It's a pity you are just hearing about the Cuban missile crisis! If Putin was half as wise and his desire is just to prevent NATO next door to him all he needed to do was to re-enact the Cuban crisis. If NATO welcomes Ukraine, he would also welcome Cuba and put his missile base there. But stupid Putin was more greedy than wise. He felt that invading a sovereign nation will solve his problem. Now Sweden and Finland want to join NATO. Ask yourself the question, how did East Germany fare under Russia? How did West Germany fare under the Allied forces? Understanding this will free your mind to wisdom! It's not about the "gragra" it's about wisdom, poise and foresight! 1 Like |

After we are gone there would be nothing "happy" about existence because even plant and animals would be destroyed in the same manner and percent to humans.. The remaining existence would be that of misery Nope, most plant life will survive. Trees will regrow from seeds buried in the soil. Animals will thrive, but humanity will have problems surviving due to lack of access to tech |

Russia is seriously gaining experience of this reality,I wonder to what direction this war will Inspire their already crazy military scientist!! Although Fighting terrorists and millitary drills boast tactical and combat effectiveness of the military it can't be compared in advantage to fighting a war with another well trained army that has modern welfare equipment and capabilities... Only Israel has both advantage,it wouldn't wear off because their war wasn't too long ago and a part of it is still continuous! I like this. There's a big difference between a symetric warfare with a country, and a fight against a group of ragtag insurgents. RUssia is doing very well in this war 2 Likes |

Ukraine never fired a bullet and Russia started bombarding and deliberately killing even civilian targets. You support this and claim to have your senses intact.
Tell me, had Ukraine joined NATO as at the time Russia started bombarding it?
Please tell me the folly you claim to know that I don't know.
Even if Ukraine joined NATO Russia has no moral right to attack a country that didn't attack it first.

It's not about the "gragra" it's about wisdom, poise and foresight! Lol So this is all you have to say after reading through everything I posted? Well I presume you didn’t read it anyway and wrong, not everyone is a tyro like you when it comes to international politics, okay?because I can see you’re seemingly saying The missile crisis is something I just learnt about. speak for your self brother man . You obviously didn’t know anything like that ever existed in the past because the few sensible people ( The Pope for instance) who knew the story together with other cold war events between these Slavic people (Russians) and the West would never stupidly pick sides with the US/NATO. You are a wise man my brother; you are a Zelensky obviously I will advise that both you and Zelensky should go and read up why it’s called “Cold” war. Probably, just maybe after knowing the meaning, then you will know why it’s nothing but sheer stupidity on the part of Zelensky/Ukraine to take on someone others (people who are a million times stronger and mightier than you) have been avoiding a direct military confrontation with. My friend I won’t say more than this. 3 Likes |

WriterNig:
Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Pope Francis has floated the idea that he wants to take a trip to Kyiv to try to broker a ceasefire. But now he says he would prefer to go to Moscow to try to talk some sense into Vladimir Putin, who he has not outwardly condemned in the now nearly three-month-old war and only did so lightly in a lengthy interview with an Italian newspaper.
“I feel that before going to Kyiv, I must go to Moscow,” he told Corriere Della Sera in an interview that ran Tuesday. But the meeting would not exactly be to condemn Putin, based on what he told the paper. He said that the real “scandal” of Putin’s war is “NATO barking at Russia’s door,” which he said caused the Kremlin to “react badly and unleash the conflict.”
Never mind that the 85-year-old pontiff is unable to walk after tearing a ligament in his knee (for which he says he will soon have surgery), or that Putin won’t even answer his calls. Francis repeated comments he has made in general audiences and in other interviews that the war is nothing more than a giant opportunity for a “trade in arms” and that it is still ongoing because of the constant shuttling of weapons to Ukraine. He has spoken twice by phone to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but mostly to urge him not to fight back. He also went to the Russian embassy to the Holy See days after the invasion began to “register his concerns” about what was happening.
“I don’t know how to answer - I’m too far a way - the question of whether it is right to supply the Ukrainians,” he told the paper. “The clear thing is that weapons are being tested there. The Russians now know that tanks are of little use and are thinking of other things. This is why wars are waged: to test the weapons we have produced. Few people are fighting this trade, but more should be done.”
Whether the Italian journalists didn’t ask or whether he didn’t answer there was no mention about what would happen if Ukrainians were not fiercely fighting back, whether it would mean a full annexation of the entire country, millions of deaths, or empowering an already insatiably power-hungry Putin.
Francis veered toward conspiracy theory as he blamed the international community for instigating the war.
“You cannot think that a free state can make war on another free state,” he said. “In Ukraine, it seems that it was others who created the conflict. I am pessimistic but we must do everything possible to stop the war.”
The pope then said that in a state visit to Rome by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, he was told “the Russians have a plan, that everything will end on May 9” without giving any further explanation. May 9 is the day Russia celebrates its liberation and the end of World War II.
See friends, I tell you honestly that the west are no different to other people. They are terribly mischievous and have agendas. You know BBC didn't report this revealing comment by the Pope? |

How was NATO responsible for World War 1 when the organization wasn’t formed until 41 years after WWI ended?
Are you saying that the leaders of the NATO countries got into a time machine, travel back in time, and assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand? It’s obvious that you know little to nothing about WWI. It’s so ironic that you called others foolish. Read and understand my statement. I quoted a foolish person blaming NATO for the problems of the world. |
