I am a doctor, used to be passionate as a young doctor. After 4 years of practice in Nigeria and a few more years abroad, the passion is gone. Its now about my convenience, career progression and the money.

That's what happens when passion becomes overstressed. I used to think I can write for free and my only satisfaction will come from people reading my piece. Right now, its "Bivtch better get my money." I think passion should be sth you do at your leisure not your primary source of income.

Sometimes if your passion does not put food on your table, you got to shift your passion to something worth while!

Some professions can be a passion , but some are strictly for a living, cant imagine a divorce lawyer profession a passion or a chartered accountant a passion, its all about the money.

My passion has always been writing, I've always loved researching and writing short stories and poems but then, is writing even a profession in Nigeria ? Many people made me feel like it's not worth it.

I am a Pharmacist today, my job pays the bills and puts food on the table, when I'm not working, I am writing. I picked up a musical instrument too. These three things mantain the balance in my Life while I attempt to scale up my income at a steady pace.

What I am doing now is somehow similar to what I wanted to do when I was young(engineering) and the direct product of what I studied in school, i.e what I studied is the production process/line of the goods I deal on.

So I will say my hustle is in line with my passion and making money i.e for a living, I just need more funds to set up a manufacturing company a.k.a industry.

I done even forget my ambition self, all I want now is just to make money and more money
