The presidency should go to the South East.
That's just the right thing to do.

Major ethnic groups:
Presidency From 1999 till date.
Ibo: -----------------------
Hausa: Yar'Adua, Buhari
Yoruba: Obasanjo

Geo Political Zones in the south: Presidency from 1999 till date.
South East: ---------------
South South: Jonathan
South West: Obasanjo

If we're interested in the peace of this country, we must do the right thing.
With lgbo president, all those parading themselves as lpob will go quiet just like the then militants in the South South.

No individual or an ethnic group can decide the future for others.
But Justice, Equity and Fair Play must be encourage for the peace and prosperity of the country.
The fear of an lbo president dividing the country does not hold water.

This one is hard o, how many of them will meet this condition considering the delegates might not want to openly endorse any candidate at this time. Signing for a candidate means an open rejection of the other candidates which will be difficult.

Jonathan a southerner defeated Atiku and other northern presidential candidates in 2011. All this noise about Apc loosing if they field a southern candidate is a big lie.
The south needs to put her house in order, the agitation by northerner for open presidential ticket lately is due to several unserious aspirants declaring in the south.
The only way to keep this country as one indivisible entity is for power to come to south come 2023 anything outside this may spell doom for our already fragile unity as a nation.

The North or some greedy and undiscerning amongst them do not know that they have a lot to lose by fielding a Northerner. They will gnash their teeth but it will be too late.
Our resolve is that power must shift to the South.Either Igbo or Yoruba.Anything out of this is disastrous.

We will see exactly how the SW will emerge president in 2023.

After the 2023 elections we will also know exactly what region/regions are inconsequential

The same region that has remained inconsiquential since 1966 would remain inconsiquential

SW got the PVC and the Northern alliance

Power is rotated between North and South, and not between NE, NW, NC, SW, SS, SE. If not, then NE and NC should say it is their turn.

SO, Igbos should get set to contest with other Southerners. Obsanjo contested against Alex Ekwueme, Odumegwu Ojukwu, and other clowns. The Presidency was not zoned to Obsanjo's village.

Well said but remember that was because it was a transition between PDP to PDP. Intra-party transition it's easier considering they used federal might and power of incumbency.

But here we are talking about wrestling from a ruling party. Somany things comes to play.

Before you sell your idea ask yourself why it was easy for a northern opposition of Buhari APC to wrestle power from an incumbant president of Jonathan PDP in 2015.

BE WISE.

Do you think Nigerians are enjoying one 9ja? Do you believe that in 2033 life will be better for an average 9ja resident?
Clue: is life better now in 2023 than it was in 2013? shocked shocked

This begging for unity when your candidate wins and threatening break-up when your person doesn't win is very disingenuous.

9ja is not working and getting worse. No president can make it work due to its bad structure. We just don't have the institutions that work well for nation building. So we must be honest now and urgently restructure. If that means parting ways, so be it.

Yoruba did not rule but you Igbos and Hausas.Yoruba presented Falae Igbos and Hausas colluded and brought out Obasanjo from prison to make him president because he has always been anti-Yoruba.

Igbos have never voted for a Yoruba man in their lives. They even voted against Abiola. They voted for Tofa and betrayed/stabbed their Southern brother.

Ndume: ". The fear, as they are claiming now, is that if the PDP fields a northern candidate, then the APC’s chance of winning is doubtful"

True statement by senator Ndume!
The southern Nigerians are too arrogance and that makes northern politicians more acceptable. For example, reports coming out Of Nigeria are that both Rotomi Amaechi and Godswill Akpabio are diverting money in their respective ministries to build northern Nigeria. As a southern Nigerian, I will never cast vote for any of these two guys. That is why the northern Nigerian politicians are certain to retain the presidency of Nigeria in 2023. The northern Nigerian politicians act inclusive and the southern politicians act exclusive in matters that affect the lives citizens. Don't vote for a southern candidate!

So and earlier this year, I predicted former vice Atiku Abubakar to become president of Nigeria if he gets PDP ticket to represent the party. Today, I stand by my prediction. I don't want a southern president because when they get into the office, they cozy up to the north at the expense of the south. Its all come down to the feeling of inferiority by the southerners.

It's so unfortunate we are having a very docile president that had decided to be silent on every salient. Around this time in 2006 Obasanjo has settled the issue of his successor and commanded all the Governors to work for his victory.

Buhari has not done well both in governance and politics.
