Resting on and religious god's existence or inexistence should not be mutually exclusive. What I mean is that whether a particular religious god exists or not, it does not stop a soul which has ceased to exist in one physical planet to emerge in another planet (spiritual) to either continue his journey of existence or stay there to rest.
I am not an atheist though, but resting after death on earth is not a function of any religious god. Let us hear from the guy himself sha.
