The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has disclosed that the Southwest leaders and elders will soon reach consensus on producing a President aspirant for the zone ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

He said consultation is ongoing daily and he is optimistic that the region may reach agreement soon over the differences among the contestants

The Vice President, who is also vying for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket, spoke during an interaction with Osun APC delegates at the Government House, Osogbo on Friday.

“I believe strongly in the wisdom of Yoruba elders and leaders, and consultations are always ongoing, I believe that very soon we will resolve whatever differences exist and we will reach agreement on way forward”, he said.

How do you that parents whose children are sitting at home due to strike are the same people supporting their oppressors?

How do you reconcile a situation where the students whose future is getting ruined by their leaders/politicians are still their die hard supporters?

What moral justification does Osinbanjo, Tinubu, Atiku and the rest failure have to solicit for votes.

It's a pity, Nigeria is not program to progress.
Nigeria is afflicted with majority of foolish people and unfortunate leaders.

If don't reach consensus the North will collect the ticket. While about 20 Southern candidates will share southern votes which is barely more than half of the northern votes. Only two northern candidates will be contesting for those votes.

I said it before that All na initial gragra. Buying of presidential forms is just to increase volume of noise. All Southwest aspirants will step down for Tinubu and tell their followers they garner during their gragra to vote for tinubu

And if he wins, and maybe ends up becoming president, with the poor state of his health and age not being on his side, and the worst happens (may God spare him) then the south should be ready to kiss the presidency good bye for another long time!
