I'm not sure that's a good idea. There was a case of a ghanaian family who couldn't pay d visa fees for the entire family of just three and they had to pay for two excluding d kid and I remember d CO telling the lazy(who's the principal applicant) that she will have to wait a few years without the kid..

So my advice to her is she can leave the baby with her mother (that's if she most move) and come back years after or work out ways of reuniting with her legally after a few years - such a hard decision I must say but certainly better than saying she lost d baby

I know that and that was in Ghana...we get the harshest decisions here. I think she can just go without the kid and claim low cash. It might work.

jack_syno: My major worry now is which of the two hospitals to use for my Medicals as one is not really making much sense when I called and was asking question; and the other that responded well to my questions was saying for my wife and I, we be charged 31k each - assuming we don't have previous medical records.
And for kids (both less than 5yrs) 40k+ each - assumming they lack medical records as well.
That with immunization records and all that, the amount could reduce. I was infact advice I visit the hospital to determine what examinations I need carry out to determine d exact amount.

What of a corresponding death certificate to that effect? What of the usual investigations the embassy do run to verify claims? Caution him to thread carefully. Any lies could have overwhelming consequences.

temmytanny: I should be more worried than you when it comes to getting job in US because am going with my family of which i must look for work withing weeks to feed them. But with my level of experience in telecoms, oil and gas and B.Eng in agric engineering. I think i will get a job even if its not good at the beginning.
Dont let job search worry you now. NO matter what,u will sure see one that would pay atleast $5 an hour.
Your concern now is passing the interview.

Really it's dicey. Lying or falsification is not an option. She stands a better chance to tell the truth and face the consequences than lie, get caught and get penalized. Kaimastime@gmail.com I suppose. I remember commenting on that case. Really if you follow strictly the American immigration Law in respect to DV lottery, that case is a no case submission. What that means it failure ab-initio. You can't import facts where none exists. Writing KCC to say you mistakenly added a child which didn't exist at the time of application and under the circumstances described is sufficient grounds for denial. Well if they have the cash to spear, let them give it a push.

Well, to an extent I see where u are coming from. But if I must say,I guess we are talking about the inclusion of a baby that wasn't in the DV application and I made reference to a case in Ghana.
Well, I believe be it in Naija, Ghana or London, adding someone not in ur original DV application is a good ground for visa refusal.
Yes COs might be 'soft' in their dealings with applicants in certain countries but that doesn't get them off the simple but very strict rules.
