A video showing horrifying moment a groom hit his bride at the back of her head with his fist has surface online.

The wedding incident was said to have happened in Uzbekistan, a country in Central Asia.

A toastmaster had invited the couple on stage and made them take part in a competition which the bride subsequently won.

The groom who seem unhappy that he lost angrily hit the bride hard on the back of her head.

This came as a huge shock to the bride who held her head in pain before she was led off the stage by two women.

The groom however remained on the stage as if nothing had happened.
