The Guinness Eye centre is a "mandate" era development. It has not always been there or even associated with Guinness. Many people have been out out Nigeria long before the foundation stone was laid so knowing about it proves or disproves nothing
Try and imagine what that space looked like before the foundation stone was laid?. If it is the person I think then she probably did not work in that building before retiring. I can see that having lost the debate you want to move to areas where you might feel comfortable.

Many Nigerian doctors run into trouble in the UK when they arrive with this outdated mentality
