Sincerely speaking if I'm Peter Obi I'll follow suit cuz what on earth would Obi gain if he's embarrassed at the poll next year?? he couldn't even win all the state in his region 2019 and same thing would happen 2023. as the biggest fan of Obi atm, I'll be the only one to tell him the bitter truth. Sir, now is not the best time to contest. carefully and sincerely back off the presidential race.

Are you saying all other candidates could win and so should continue in the race, while Obi the only one in your imagination that can't win, should resign?

Well, I am not an Obi fan, but if he wants to contest, let him contest.

Better to take a chance now, than not to take a chance and then be wondering about it.

This is incorrect/misleading.

He has immediately resigned as the Conservative leader, not resigning as Prime Minister. He’s staying PM until the Tory party conference in Autumn. Supposedly.
