omolola100: That is why they should have stayed at home with their kids. It was entirely useless traveling across states with innocent kids to attend the wedding of a colleague’s sister. Not even the colleague. Sorry about your experience. 10 Likes |

In all my years in the private school system, I don't mind them removing my 1k, but I no dey attend. Why? There's always a story of fight or neglect/disregard towards younger attendees. Most people sef only attend for the food. I have enough food at home. Make una go come back. Till today, I must really like you to attend your occasion, after an hour or so, I get bored and leave. 5 Likes |

Arysexy:there's a trick my mom taught me as a child.she used to be this owanmbe lover.na every party she dey go but she will put food flask inside the car with plenty of jollof Rice and chicken that she cooked so that of they don't serve food at the party,we will eat our own jollof in the car so because of that anytime I go to party I must carry my own food.i have attended a lot of weddings (especially the Igbo and Niger Delta weddings) where the food will not go round.they will say the food has finished Abi na only rice dey no meat or they'll be selective in the Serving of food (very poor at organising parties.na only decor and also ebi they spend money on.when it comes to food,I don't expect too much from them) anyway I will just jejely leave,I don't even bother getting angry or offended (you will still see some people fighting or insulting the waiters out of anger and hunger) lol Wetin consain me.its either I go to the car and quietly eat the food I brought or locate the nearest eatery to buy food. 4 Likes 1 Share |

exstreve: That is what happens when you feel you must attend every party. Imagine they even bought Aso ebi of 3k, this is funny. Which one be una own? You ain't direct family to either of the partners, neither are you friends, neighbors, work colleagues or customers. You are simply co workers to the bride's sister , yet you went and bought Asó ébi, travelled all the way and still contributed hahahahahahahaha. Don't be surprised some of them borrowed the money they spent on aso ébi, transport or contribution. Wonder shall never end. 6 Likes |

atheistandproud:exactly.you have hit the nail on the head. I remembered my former place of work.all of of my ex colleagues attended a wedding of one of my former colleague and the boss too was present at the wedding.he was expecting them to give him preferential treatment as say he be boss.he was expecting the fake respect people give him at work to give him at the party.the worst part was that when the party was about ending and he noticed they didn't bring food for him,he now told one of my ex colleagues to bring food for him and be following him at his back like one housegirl.in my mind I was so happy I didn't attend. It was so bad that she said even the food was thrash.they served jollof Rice with plenty oil dripping under the plastic plate with burnt fried fish.she said she was even tasting sand Inside the food .to now crown it all they gave her hot Plastic bottle of Limca I was just laughing inside me.the thing is if I'm not close to you I'm not going for your wedding and that's on period.it doesn't mean that I hate you or have anything against you,I will never inconvenience myself for people I know will not move any table for me when push comes to shove. 6 Likes 1 Share |

OP did you even read what you wrote? At least you could have edited your write up to save us the readers the stress of missing words and tenses. No be we say make you travel from Ekiti go Akure for wedding. Then why call it a fake wedding? When indeed the wedding held, at least they were joined in the church, just that they lacked coordination, time management and food wasn't done the way it was supposed to be. Next time when you hear weddings outside your state, no go. I say what? No, go. 3 Likes |

A lesson I learnt while growing up is before I leave my house for any party, I eat very well & leave very little space in my tummy . Even if you don't serve me food at your party, I'll probably not feel it 3 Likes |

Vote out this evil party apc. I wonder how someone will support a BAT.... A bat that is confused at being a bird or an animal... A bat that poos from the mouth... A bat that comes out generally at night.. A bat that may call itself a bird but flies without a.known direction.. A bat that sucks blood. A bat that sleeps upside down. So for all of you supporting Bola ahmed tinubu, consider yourself bat-eaters. You have not just failed the society, failed your generation, believe me you have failed YOURSELF. VAMPIRES 3 Likes |

ChybuzzDD: Oga professor, didn't you read from the beginning of the write-up that she is not inclined properly on writing in a more comprehensive format? ("Grammar" according to her word) Was the information not conveyed when you read it? If any correction(s) where needed, it should have been carried out in a responsible manner. 5 Likes |

If I were you, I would have demanded for excuse and use the #3000 for aso ebi to entered one better joint and order for better kanda with beer and have my peace. I don't even like party talkless of going to another state for party. Nowadays, I select where I go, once I noticed that the place will not add value to me, I stay clear. Why will I spend my money and time and take such aimless journey all in the name of it might be my turn. |
