Can you imagine! This is sorry and tragic, I hope you were able to sort it out with them.

This is exactly why I was telling my fellow writers in my WhatsApp writer's group to make sure they copyright their books/ stories before they upload or release it/ them on any platform, be it Amazon or Nairaland or whatever.

And the goodnews is, writers don't need to pay to do it. The Bearne Convention Treaty, which Nigeria is a part of, ensures that. All a writer needs to do is just create a copyright page/ part in his book/ story and save it properly --- advisable to a cloud --- for evidence purpose incase of issues like this or to prevent issues like this.

It is advisable you create a copyright part at the beginning of this story to avoid stories like this. The issue of intellectual property theft is fvcking gory.



I haven't been around that's why I haven't been active but I'm thrilled at the twist of things. You proved my theory wrong and I like that.

I also like how you cleared up the loopholes like the concept of Fola murdering her own husband that she loves or claims she loves, Fola's statement of Chioma being lucky to have George, and others. It shows how adept, attentive and strategic you are as a writer, that's beautiful.

All i can say is you're a copacetic writer and this story, Impeccable.
