Why for goodness sake is it so impossible for refineries to work to capacity in Nigeria? Must we keep importing what we produce? Why is Nigeria so cursed? Even the so called Dangote Refinery they were making noise about has suddenly fizzled away! I am totally tired of this country. 4 Likes 1 Share |

LordIsaac:The issue is not about subsidy. The issue is that the whole refineries in nigeria don't work so we are heavily dependent on importing fuel. Fix the refineries and the price of fuel will drastically reduce and there wouldn't be any need for subsidy. All the importers will have no choice but to adjust their prices. But no, they won't fix the refineries because they are chopping heavily from subsidy. 2 Likes |

IamANigerianMan: Fuel scarcity can go forever, the scarcity is a ploy to increase the fuel price, soon another scarcity will come and fuel subsidy will go. Fuel will be sold for up to 400 Naira. Sweet thing is that even APC members will buy at that price, there is no sense in supporting these politicians. UK, US, and Egypt are currently subsidising Gas for their citizens, Nigeria corrupt leaders are bringing hardship to it own citizens. 3 Likes 1 Share |

NNPC has decided to be a monopoly, individuals are no longer allowed to import fuel, but with 4 refineries should we be importing fuel.? Its a shame that we have to import fuel, we the refineries can be fixed and made to function. Govt needs revenue yet they wont fix a revenue earning asset, very strange. |
