If Nigeria were runned by good leaders this is our time to go UAE and seriously seriously cash out and help out nation.
We have one of the highest gas reserve in the world.we have a huge demand but leadership is our curse.
We need a revolution in the country.
With this the whole of Nigeria should be a construction site when the deal starts running.

What is our problem as a group of people? We indulge ourselves in extreme begrudgery even up to our National Government. Some people are so envious of development or good news about their own country, this is not stupidity it is bewitchment of the highest order.

I wrote a snippet of how someone close to me benefited from the FG anchors borrower programme yesterday without connection or any external input that goes to show the opportunities are there but we have a large population of intellectually lazy people that want those opportunities to drop at their doorstep without any effort.

EU considering buying Gas from Nigeria intimates an abundance of opportunities for individuals that can pitch their tent around the mechanism that will ensure the transaction becomes a success...Let's forget about what big-time politicians will make from it and think about how we can position ourselves around the system, there is no easy money anywhere in the world, people align themselves with the right crowd and that's how it is done in those developed countries everyone wants to "Japa" to

We need to stop making ourselves look like fools to the global community because of hatred, tribalism or religion because many countries have it worse than us e.g Venezuela, but you hardly hear about how the country with the largest oil reserves couldn't provide for its citizens with the proceeds from oil and gas because their citizens have since channelled their energy into palm oil production in the last 7-8 years

If you don't understand, just keep quiet so that you can learn. He just told you how profitable it would have be for us at this time wish we have better leaders. Alot of work would have be created through oil and gas drilling. Since
the inception of this government, they refuse to invest in the oil and gas sector.

Most of Nigerias Gas deposits are around Imo, Abia Anambra and now Enugu. Is God not wonderful? Buhari is strategizing to use South Easternngas to buy over the west at thee expense of the same East! It won't fly.. Gas from Igbo land will NEVER be used to save Nigeria.
The EU delegation should go and discuss with real Igbo leaders and not with the federal Nigeria appointed proxies.

The utterly corrupt Nigerian government has misused trillions of dollars worth of Oil incomes for over half a century now. Oil is running out as the main demand in the international market and these guys want to pivot to gas to continue the maximum looting from where they stopped.
We will not agree..

Gas in Nigeria will flow freely when it's being used to improve the living standards of the real owners and not when it's being used to inflate the pockets of the fulani oligarchs and their agbadorian cousins..
They have already passed all sorts of Evil and dubious legislations to loot these resources. So folks must agitate to no end until the right thing is done..

God bless you for speaking my mind

The problem here is the price of Gas will increase madly in Nigeria in favour of their foreign counterpart because we can't plan ahead of demand of foreign exchange
Re: EU Looks To Nigeria For Gas To Replace Russian Supplies by Minjim: 7:33am On Jul 23, 2022
We need Buhari out of office asap! So he doesn't ruin this deal.

That man is only interested in chewing Goro

Someone like Tinubu can pull this off. But we should expect the process to he shrouded in corruption

Peter Obi may be a more reliable person. Not that he had the precedent but because his posture shows that he's prepared for the job.

I don't like the manner Tinubu and his group are handling Lagos. So much revenue but nothing much on ground

Atiku is no even an option at all

It won't cause increase, rather it will lead to decrease.

Right now we import our gas. We don't have the infrastructure to extract our own natural gas.

If the EU invest in infrastructure to extract and refine the gas, we will produce locally and export the remain after we satisfied local consumption.

This is where we need good leaders not greedy politicians that'll prioritised exporting it over local use because of foreign exchange they make into their pockets
