Economic prosperity isn't going to solve the present problem of insecurity, it can solve the security problems on a longrun but on the short run, you need brute force every terrorists needs to understand that the penalty for terrorism is death. Create va special terrorism court, once convicted hang them. The biggest problem we have is no consequences for bad behaviour.

Let's not get our hopes too high on unrealistic promises.

Fashola for example claimed solving issues in the power sector is not rocket science. He was the minister of power for 4 years with nothing to show for it.

By the way, on this bokoharam and banditry issue, do you have example of countries that solved a similar challenge within 2 months? Would be helpful to work with more realistic timelines.

I'd rather not get peoples' hopes too high and give them excuses 8 years later. Same high hopes Nigerians had with Jonathan and Buhari...
