Obi is a good man but unfortunately he lacks the experience. Governance at National level goes beyond telling stories.

I find his story about buying fuel for his convoy as a Governor very repulsive, as a leader you must delegate you must have people you can trust to help you deliver, no man is an island.
go to hell. Tinubu urchin

Atiku is a fraud. I mean, a huge fraud.

In the case of Tinubu, the Muslim - Muslim ticket is highly insensitive and disrespectful and that will finish him.

As a Yoruba and a sane Nigerian, the only viable option now is Peter Obi to be honest.

Sowowe is very knowledgeable and bold but he is not mature at all and will not get there.

Osibanjo would have been APC's best chance is Tinubu, APC cabal and Buhari backs him.

Others candidates are jokers.
In a thread about specific policies, all you have to offer is the same old tribalistic nonsense, when it's clear that the candidate you favor is precisely the one who has the least to offer in terms of track record or concrete policy recommendations. I bet you're about as "Yoruba" as I am a Zeta Reticulan.

Allow them to keep deceiving themselves. Atiku, the sole owner of mikano will fix Nigeria power problems to booster his Generator business or what?

If this people couldn't learn a lesson from buhari, I wonder if it's same maker that made us all.

Hmm and one idiot on this forum said Mikano was established in 1991 and that Atiku wasnt born by then.

It's good we start comparing issues, and not attacking personalities which Atiku, Tinubu and Kwankwanso's supporters have been doing against Obi.

You are very economical with the truth here, you didn't finish everything that Obi said on the interview.
Meanwhile, Atiku is still talking about same old turbines that haven't worked for years, while Obi is telling you about a working system. The problem with you people is that you are stuck with old politicians who don't want to upgrade their knowledge on modern ways of doing things

I guess Datti was talking about issues here

I think we are now beginning to identify the serious contenders and mere pretenders. Tinubu is next to tell us how he plans to fix the electricity so we can compare and contrast. When I wrote it here few days ago that it is high time all presidential candidates start rolling out their plans and programs (manifestos) for Nigerians to know what they have for us, some nairalanders kicked against it saying it is not yet time.

As for me, I won't make up my mind yet on who should have my vote until I identify the candidate with the most realistic and clearcut plan to fix 3 things - - electricity, economy and restructuring.

My brother I have decided not to believe any politician again. If are waiting for the better talker, you will make mistake in your judgment. Rochas is an example. Don't let anybody brain wash you, it is easier said than done. All the nonsense buhari promised us, did he achieve any? Vote Peter OBi simple

Yea. The same way Air Nigeria, Lai Mohammed digital TV program, Buhari's yuan deal, and several others are also on ground.

The government has been lying for ages and it irks me to see kids argue for them. I assume you are a kid, because of you are an adult. You are a disappointment to your entire family and generation to come.

In bold. What is the difference between Egypt and Nigeria when it comes to common power generation and distribution? You wanted to sound sophistiwretched as usual.

Our power infrastructure are not the same, our generation, transmission and distribution system are not the same so our roadmap and solution can not be the same .

Siemens that worked on their solution in Egypt worked out our own solution based on our peculiar needs and solutions.

It took 4 years to get to 25,000mw in Egypt, but Nigeria is getting the same 25,000 in 3 years so of what relevance is what they did in Egypt when in fact we are getting to the same numbers faster than in Egypt.?

This is common sense, no offense.

Listen to PO interviews and speeches and you will discover one thing which is: Peter Obi keep mentioning countries that are doing great and he's plan in to replicate that same thing when he becomes the president.

That's the model most developed countries used to when they were still developing. And that's exactly what Nigeria needs.

You don't have to reinvent the wheel, identify what the successful are doing, so the same nd you too will be successful

Atiku vs. Obi: How Each Of Them Intend to Fix Nigeria's Power Problem

During his Arise Interview, Nigeria's former Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the PDP was asked a simple question on how he intend to fix Nigeria's power problems.

He was practical in his response which centered around decentralizing generation and transmission which he intends to achieve by:

1. Fixing turbines on the Dams that are idling away in the Northern states of Nigeria and embracing solar energy.

2.Using the massive deposits of coal in Enugu to power the deficits in the South East since we are still a developing country.

3. Using the existing gas reserves in the South South to power existing gas powered stations across Nigeria

Peter Obi his former running mate and ex governor of Anambra now presidential candidate of Labour Party was asked thesame simple question on what his plans for fixing our power problems are, he wasted 4 mins saying virtually nothing:

He referred us to go and read what the leader of Singapore and the ruler of Dubai said about what people are doing right.

His knowledge of our current problems and potentials that can be quickly transformed to fix the problem was very poor.

His response to the problem of lingering ASUU strike was equally poor. Instead of answering the question the man went off point talking about out of school children providing statistics that were already out dated.

Dont take my word for it here are the videos, watch it and make your own judgement.

Atiku knows what to do but we don't know how sincere he is, Obi has no plan and don't know about the nation he only knows Anambra when he was governor but if he will be governor now he can't do as he does then.
Therefore I am advising Nigerians to pray for God intervention in affairs of Nigeria

Atiku was practical despite he is not going to do it, but Peter Obidient was clueless and not receptive , he was talking of Egypt and he has forgotten Egypt doesn't have Igbo tribe that are celebrating unknown gunmen that are killing other igbos, he has forgotten this is Nigeria with different people with different mentality

Obi is a scam
Peter Obi as a matter of urgency should
address these allegations because they're very weighty and I know a couple of them to be true

I got this on African History Archive

1. Those who knew Peter Obi will attest to the fact that he has been a drug dealer beginning from his days as an undergraduate at UNN. He was hardly attending lectures and only managed to graduate with a third class in Philosophy after spending 12 years in the University.

2. His brother in-law who incidentally is one of the hirelings used by him for his nefarious drug trafficking business is currently languishing in jail in far away London. This is the major cause of strain between Obi and his in-laws. It is on record that his closeness to Dubem Obazie was the because he Dubem served jail term for drug trafficking because of Peter.

3. Obi should explain his relationship with former Military Administrator, Governor lbim Princewill and Col Earnest Kizito Attah of Cross River State whom he helped as a conduit to fleece Cross River State government thus contributing to the under development of the state.

4. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra the
circumstances surrounding his father's
death which remains his best kept secret. Before then we can reveal that Obi's father was drowned to death by Obi's associates in the drug trade whom he short-changed in a business deal prompting the mafias to kill the old man whom they drowned bounded hands and feet with bricks round his neck.

5. Given the level of insecurity in Anambra state, "Saint" Peter Obi should explain how he expends his security vote since it is on record that he collects over 470 million naira per month as security vote (220 million naira from Local Government and 250 million Naira
from the state FAC accounts)

6. Just as Peter Obi professes his Catholicism for political expediency, we ask him to summon the moral courage and explain to Catholic faithful his relationship with the Olumba Olumba Obu (000) Cult sect where his wife is a known member. It is also on record that Peter Obi met the wife at a night club in Auchi. The lady had two children from two different men -an Albino and a Ghanaian. The affirmed Catholic is yet
to wed his wife in the church.

7. Obi is yet to explain the mystery behind the 250 million naira that was found in the possession of his aides. He is yet to produce the contractor and publish the contractual agreement that stipulates that this very contractor will be paid in cash and also a reference to any other known precedents. Not even the famous late Barkin Zuwo of Kano State paid contractors in cash.

8. Obi should explain why he has continued to loot the resources of the state using his brother, Ndibe Obi, Ejike Onwusogbulu and a certain Chidi Agbapu -a Lagos based stock broker as a conduit for money laundering while the vouths in Anambra remain unemployed;

9. Obi was elected governor on the platform of APGA and it is on record that he never convened an APGA meeting thereby destroying the entire party structure. Obi should explain to party faithfuls and loyalists why he destroyed the party;

10. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra what happened to the state local government allocations and why Anambra under Obi is the only state in Nigeria without elected local government officers in place?

In view of the foregoing, we demand his
immediate resignation or face further
disclosure of his criminal past and present.

You believe that Atiku will leave his Mikano gens importation business in Nigeria to continue with your Siemens project.
The hype of fixing Nigeria's electricity problems was high when Atiku and Obasanjo imported the turbines now laying wasted all over Nigeria.
Nigeria is littered with billions of Dollars abandoned projects due to business and personal interests of political office holders.
