Official Transcript is the one sent directly to the Oversea Institute of Learning from the school you graduated. So, they want you to ask your University here in Nigeria to send your transcript to them directly without passing through you. This involves some extra expenses: Payment to your Uni and then cost of Courier to Canada. Most Canadian Universities - like other foreign Universities (if not all) demand for Official Transcripts. Some go as far as demanding that the transcript be evaluated by WES. WES is another story all together. The to & fro involved in passing thru WES is scary and discouraging.
Unofficial Transcript is the scanned copy with you. Most (if not all) colleges in Canada accept unofficial transcript. So, make your choice. If you love the University so much, then go for it and plan your budget well. But if you can look for a college in Canada, please do. I dont see much difference than the fact that one runs Masters/PHD Programs and the other stops at Graduate Diplomas/Grad Certs. Cut your cloth according to your material.

He said Secondary school transcript not University…

Yeah, you are correct. But Same procedure applies to Secondary Schools. They can issue Transcripts and courier them to the requesting institutions directly. With the understanding of the secondary school, they can seal the transcript with an official envelop and hand it over to him to courier by himself on behalf of the sch. In most cases, Transcript will be from SS1 - SS3 ...all the results for all the terms. Some even do Transcripts from JS1 - SS3.
Its not too difficult to do. He should just pay them and they will get to work. Its even easier than getting from Universities in Nigeria with all their bottleneck protocols and sorting. If the secondary does not have experience in generating it, he should google it. I can also forward a sample if he desires.
Wishing him goodluck!

Good afternoon everyone, I am new here and I'm not sure if I am on the correct thread but I wanted to ask about the Canada study permit and people's timelines, my younger brother got admission to study in January, and we accepted the offer and submitted his visa application (first applicant, by ourselves no agent), we applied on October 11th, he did his biometrics already but no communication since, and his classes starts the first week of January, I am a bit nervous and don't know what to do now to quicken the process for him, please if anyone can familiar with the process can process feedback, advise or anything that has worked. God bless you!!!

Please rush down to your bank and make use of MBS for your POF account statement.
You will be given a one page document after your statement is sent to IRCC directly. This one page document contains a code IRCC would use to Access your statement sent by your bank directly.

Compressing your printed or e-statement of about 32mb can cost you the application if it's not readable after the compression, IRCC will not notify you that they are unable to read it before making a decision on your application.

Good luck.

IRCC processing time Is 12 weeks, Jan 11th will make it 12 weeks. Some people have gotten PPR within 4 weeks here tho but it's extremely rare at this time.

My advice, send webforms/emails for feedback if he has done medicals and biometrics and watch your school's resumption time to know when to defer and retain the admission while waiting for IRCC.

Good luck.

Your school is supposed to have an official envelope carrying their name logo and address.

They will put your transcript from ss1-ss3 in this envelope seal it and send it directly to your prospective school's address in Canada.

Please guys check the image
They said where i did my secondary school should mail my transcript to the university

Your high school transcript is usually your original Waec certificate from Waec showing your grades and not your secondary school testimonial.
That's what Wes evaluates as high school transcript and what you would use if your school does not require a Wes evaluated transcript.

Did you get a receipt that confirms the payment of your transmission fee yet?

Hi Aramide,
You can see people asking questions and posting responses here but you prefer to join a WhatsApp/telegram group.
Is there a particular question you need answers for?

I did my Biometrics in Abuja, I don't think I need to pay transmission fee.

Around what time did you get the acknowledgement email?

If they dont have official envelop, they should stamp the sealed envelop and sign across it. I am sure the school has official stamp. Please also ensure that they print the Transcripts on their letter head and put stamp and signature on all pages.

Attached is a sample. I blocked the name of the student and cropped out the name of the school.

The student is my sister and I have already used it to secure admission for her in Seneca College.

I hope this helps you.
Best of Luck!

Is your tracking ID showing anything when you track it via their site?

Yeah, the tracking ID says that my passport is being processed at the visa office. And I've been receiving email notifications about the process.
