The retirement age in the Federal civil service is 60 years and it is the desire of all federal civil servants to serve their country diligently and retire at 60 years. you're right on this but most of the workers are on contributory pension schemes and have accumulated a sizeable amount of money, govt will only have to augment this with some amount of money let's say additional 5 years gross salary in advance and they are good to go , NNPC did something similar during Jonathan administration and it worked.
