So far the evidence available is in support of the Obasanjo Farms & Delta state government argument. Any talk at this moment about the said money being used to buy a tribunal judgment has not being proven and remains conjectural. SR have a history of malicious reporting and we all know their vendetta with the government

The Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Tony Nwaka signed on behalf of the state Government while the Managing Director of Obasanjo Holdings Elder Daniel Atsu signed on behalf of their farm.

The state Governor,  Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan at the ceremony  presented a check of N778.6 million as the state’s counterpart funding to make the programme a success.

Its a very depressing shame that some journalist will resort this level of calumny.
What were they thinking? That Nairalanders will take in this hogwash of a report hook,line and sinker?
It really is a form of disability if one lacks perspective before holding opinions. When I first read the OP, i believed there were bribe checks. But having read more, those checks aren't the checks that we want to see. And to think they tried to paint a picture of fraud with this misrepresenting report is very shameful.

The cheque, for N2.5 billion, was addressed to “Manager Oceanic Bank Call Account” and was reportedly cashed and moved away in bullion vans to a location from which judges, consultants and lawyers were paid in cold, hard cash.l.Lol
