The National Bureau of Statistics release the WAEC result statistics few days ago for 2021 data and that was where StatiSense also did the data analysis for the WAEC result Statistics they released few days ago.

However, StatiSense do not give all the true picture of the statistics as intended.

From the Data released from NBS, the SouthWest has the highest number of students that sat for WAEC and also the highest number of students that have 5 credits and above including English & Maths. This is followed by the South South Zone

The first one released by Statisense is also by state of residence so what exactly are you taking about? Nowhere was it even mentioned in the NBS report that it is by state of residence nor state of origin.

You can see the state statistics too, Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, and Oyo got the most number of students that pass with 5 credit and above.

This is by state of residence and not State of origin and the issue with this is that it only gives geographic information about the performance of states while the real information about the people is missing .

Pga go and look at the pass percentage and see that it is highest for SS and SE. I'm talking about public schools as stats from private schools can't be trusted due to miracle centers.

For example imagine a state like sokoto or Zamfara getting 97% pass rate in private schools where the percentage pass for their public schools is very poor.
