You have found what I said annoying, because I said the truth. Obi also emerged LP candidate, it's only Nigerians' votes that will determine. Just know that the Yorubas are the only reason why the Hausa Fulanis are contesting for presidency in 2023

It was Atiku who stole your mandate in PDP. Go and face him. Stop crying.

Indeed. A post that mirrors my opinion exactly.

I too have admonished about what is "up in the air" only Igbos, slow boat from China, appear to not understand with how an election win for them is Tinubu losing.

Yorubas show they know what's up given the rebellion agitation below by 5 APC governor against the centrist Federal government they are a part of.

A very serious development that went under the radar because Nigerians, even when killer enemies are at their very door, are more interested in Tiwa Savage porn than existential information gathering.

The agitation for regional governance from SW APC leaders is a big clue, beyond the cordial smiles, that Nigerian leaders are in a supremacy cold war and battle of liberation/domination.

The SW want more definitive authority and independence that will allow them protect lives and properties better in their region plus gain more control over socio-economic progress and direction.

The North too is showing it understands the region must retain power after Buhari, for existentialist purposes, even as they know that option is unfair, extremely divisive and very dangerous after the ethnically 'charged' Buhari Presidency.

Commonsense suggest a Southerner is required to heal the deep wounds of ethnocentric and religious division threatening to consume Nigeria.

Yet the North does not and cannot care because SW has already shown them that they want regional autonomy and are willing to champion regional resource control to gain their regional independence.

We saw Buhari and Adamu's effort to thwart Tinubu in APC. Ditto Atiku and Tambuwal machiavellian moves during the PDP primaries to ensure a Northerner is PDP candidate.

Add to all that Kwankwaso's recent announcement that he cannot ignore the "mood" of Northerners which is power retention in the region after 8 years of Buhari.

Everything is very desperate. Only Igbos remain kids still prosecuting this election like we are in 1979 whereas others appear to fathom that the writing is on the wall for Nigeria as a united entity and thus understand how vital it is for everyone to position themselves for optimal existentialist advantages before the inevitable we have delayed for so long is upon us.

In fact I laugh when people insult Buhari's intelligence and claim he failed. Buhari never failed. He was just preparing a favorable and advantaged 'soft landing' for his people and region for a future Nigeria everyone accepts is merely postponing the evil day and will be fractured regardless of the effort of any human being or even god.

Yorubas can rest easy because what is shown below is a principled and fundamentally sacrificial rebellion by our leaders who are a part of the centre yet are demaninding to quit the centre because they appreciate fully what "is up in the air". We will be okay. It is those walking around blind that I pity.

If Yoruba is prepared, is it the people who have fought for succession for three good years are not ready? You people's problem is that you over hype your region.

Abeg you people are insincere and delusional. Regionalism, a system of governance we have used in the past, is very different to outright secession our constitution outlaws.

This is why Awolowo moved to have a secession clause inserted in our constitution that would make it easy and legal for regions disgruntled with our union to secede.

He was frustrated by Azikiwe who colluded with the North to officially scuttle Awolowo's effort.

It is you people still suffering for the sins, greed and myopia of your father till today while Yorubas continue to show their smartness and law-abiding credentials by pursuing regional governance that is virtually same as secession in all but name.

Keep blaming Yorubas for everything. Nothing would have stopped the North from contesting the 2023 election because they are very afraid of power in the hands of a strong, resolute and independent-minded Southerner after Buhari's reign. Like Wike or Tinubu for example.

You guys are so lame at politics even the biggest handwriting on the wall you cannot read.

Only you Igbos, with your petty trading and hawkwr mentality, are too simpleton-like to not understand that the next president of Nigeria may be her last under the current system of governance as we know it.

Buhari has shown everyone, whether North or South, the need to decentralized power because it can be fatally dangerous in the hands of a biased and partisan ultimate umpire with his/her own agenda.

Nigeria will be decentralized and developments such as State policing are only a question of time. The real contest is about gaining power to control the pace of things.

The North would want a much slower pace whereas a Southerner may be very aggressive moving for changes because of the ground the south felt it has lost, especially security-wise, under Buhari.

For example, State policing may be near instant under a southerner but may take a long time to arrive under a Northerner who will definitely stall till the regions powerborkwrs feel ready if at all they ever will be.

In different times Northerners may have graciously stayed away from contestinf. Not this time where, in their eyes, there is a lot at stake for the North that is existential in Nature.

Work on doing research, staying current and improving your intellect so you just don't rush to the silly Igbo default position of blaming Yorubas for everything.

North are desperate for power and they would in fact had preferred Tinubu did not run so they they can defeat any other Southerner so things remain business as usual when they retain the power to control the direction of Nigeria and her specific security architecture and socio-economic direction.

It's Buhari and his cabal's antiparty that's the funniest to me.

The SW supported you lot. Even the Atiku you want to support contested during the primary in APC and contested under PDP in 2019. It's even because of the fact that Tinubu supported Buhari that he's hated today.

Anyway, I have always known the Fulani are betrayers. They should prove me wrong. Lol. The audacity of wanting to bring in another Northerner despite an outgoing Northerner. The nerves!

Anyway, one thing I know is no Northerner can be imposed after an outgoing Northerner. Las las each candidate will rule their region. There's a reason why each region have their candidate which shows what's up in the air already.. a dog that want to get lost won't hear the whistle.
Just imagine this comment. So you expect Northerners to support Tinubu or any other Yoruba man? No wonder people see Yorubas as a weak and slow tribe.
