Humanity desperately needs peace to navigate the unpleasant situations that frequently surround us. The good news is that our God and Father gives an abundance of peace to all who submit to His guiding principles for our lives! No one and nothing can take away the peace that God offers.

Whatever the storm is in your life, you should develop a dependence on God. Your strength may fail you, but those who trust in God with a heart of thanksgiving will never be put to shame. 

Prayer: Lord, help us today and take all the glory. We praise, worship, and thank you for this moment of power; this moment when peace is beginning to flood our souls as a result of you; as a result of your grace, as a God of peace. Amen

Make a decision today and say to yourself, "Even when the trials come, I will stand strong! In the stormy seasons, I will call upon the Lord my Saviour, and He will calm the storm. I choose faith and peace over fear and anxiety.

The story in Mark 4:35-39 gives us a clear picture of what our first point of call should be in stormy times. Yes, the storms may come even when we are on God's assignment, but having Jesus in our "ship" is what makes all the difference! So, call on him and you will have peace.

Prayer: I pray Lord, for whatever your child is believing right now, in this moment of power, I pray that there will be a great calm in that storm. Amen
