We need to understand that while Lagos isnt a super state yet it remains a work in progress ahead many others.
Pay no attention to any who says Lagos is already there. Neither should you listen to any who says Lagos has no pride of place among its peers.
Where are the IGRs generated daily?
Can we now all agree that tinubu is a problem to Lagos

Hope that ikirodah lunatic can now see the source of Tinubu's funds

The under-discussed part of this narrative is that, the minute oil money stops flowing all the IGR and tax that these miscreants keep boasting about will also disappear...crude sales receipts is the fount from which the entire Nigerian society drinks, and it's been cut down by half within one year alone due to government-sanctioned theft from source

Lot of slowpoke saying trash about lagos and Tinubu, do you all know the financial implication of all mega projects in lagos? Eko Atlantic, deep sea ports, light rail, BRT, state owned RRS, LASTMA ETC .have ypu forgotten that Obasanjo witheld Lagos Allocation for some time? ok, Lagos is generating revenue right, but wont it pay state workers and still carry out other capital projects ? at least reason well for once before spewing rubbish from your whacked brains. obviously your hatred for tinubu wont alow you reason well. you all need to get something into your brains, LAGOS IS NOT IN THE POCKET OF TINUBU!! there are people far more powerful than Tinubu running lagos from the background.

Thank you. Please tell them. It's like you are saying that Dangote is oweing $5 billion while a daily paid labourer is owing N5,000. Dangote likely has the ability to repay his $5 billion because of the amount of dividend he receives from his many business than the labourer who is owing N5,000.
In 2021, Lagos state realised N535bn as IGR alone. It hopes to generate N980. 6b in 2022. It has better ability to repay his debt of N797. 304 billion than Anambra state with a debt of N72. 429 billion but with an IGR of N36.58 billion in 2021 and a 2022 projection of N50 billion.

Note: this is just domestic debt, external debt is at $1.3bn approx... excluding FAAC allocations and other undisclosed incomes..

Where are the fully funded public infrastructures that we can tally this debt with?
Yeah you are right but in total, lagos owes 1.2 trillion naira. Lagos with an IGR of 747 Billion naira in 2021 (even without Federal allocation) is stable in that sense. Because their IGR plus federal allocation in the year should already be close to that 1.2 trillion naira ( which is their total debt). So Lagos paying back that debt is no problem at all.

The IGR of Lagos alone is more than that of some african nations.
The incomes of lagos does not in any form tally with the developments in the state.
Lagos is being run like a pyramid scheme. The state is being strategically ripped off and media scams are being used to hide the embezzlements.
The ring leader of the embezzlement is tinubu. He is the one at the head of the pyramid.
The day lagos breaks loose from tinubu, that is day lagos will see light.

Lagos is building deep sea ports, blue rail systems, created a viable tax system, before financial institutions lend you money, they look at your revenue, your inflows, Lagos IGR, growth and development justifies the debt obligation, they will be able to afford to service the debts easily. Any reasonable government will take loans and do whatever possible to modernize, develop and increase capacity. If you can't afford the loans, you won't get it.
You are minding all these foolish economic refugees forming Aba made economists here grin
Nobody gives out loan offers to a wretch. The fact that you’re qualified to get a particular loan means the lenders already evaluated your economic performance and know you’re capable of paying back/servicing such loans. The United States of America remains the most indebted country on the face of God’s green earth followed closely by the people’s Republic of China then the United Kingdom and does this imply that they’re doing bad economically?
As bad as this Lagos bad reach, these set of ungrateful, homeless Jews are still moving in droves just to hawk gala and constitute nuisance and sometimes even call the State a no-man’s land. If you take your time to go through the list of these indebted countries, can you guess what they all have in common? The answer is economic prosperity and what this means is that it is no coincidence that the most indebted State in Nigeria happens to be even more progressive than Nigeria herself

Tinubu left N100 Billion debt for Fashola. With inflation, that amount is in trillions today.

Tinubu took the highest loan ever in the history of Lagos and delivered only a "master plan" with few roads.

Ambode took zero debt and delivered more. I hope the veils covering the eyes of Lagosians will be removed someday.

I still wonder why Lagos has not turned to mini-Dubai. Something is wrong somewhere. They claimed they are generating 51b IGR monthly aside the monthly federal allocation but the debt is as huge as mount Everest "N797. 304 billion".
God please for the sake of your children and the unborn ones liberate Lagos state from the hands of slave masters. This is too much and getting too much.
The Lagos unborn children will pay debt till they get shrink of life.

I noticed Obi supporters are very dull, no wonder they reason the way they do. How can biafrans be laughing Lagos, a state that accepted them, helped them as refugees roaming around, looking for where to survive. Igbos will never allow yorubas dominate a market zone in Biafra land, the way they dominate alaba, Ladipo and mess up the whole place. The idiots must be served their own poison.
