Who no like better thing? Any sensible and sound lecturer who has the opportunity to pursue his career outside and is still in Naija is a big fool.

Nigeria won't get better even in the next 30 years

Let's not deceive our selves it's not working. If you have the opportunity to japa pls do it fast.

Nigerians and our leaders have failed to address One Major Problem facing us, unless this is treat treated we won't move forward at all.

NIGERIA ETHNIC GROUPS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE, WE ARE NOT MEANT TO EVEN COEXIST IN THE FIRST PLACE. THESE ETHNIC GROUPS SHOULD BE COUNTRIES ON THEIR OWN.

Let's tell our selves the simple truth, trabalism has finished us. Non of the ethnic groups like themselves and we all wished we were never together.

Even if Nigeria must move forward a fresh new start is a must, fresh agreement and constitution is a must otherwise.

We will continue like this, elections upon elections won't save us

You are right. It is obvious.

Job will be available for our youth

You people work in 4 university at same time
In other countries it doesnt happen

They also work in private universities and colleges too. Despite the pay in the private sector is lesser than the public institutions, they are punctual in private than the public which ought to be their primary job. Reasons is that students in public versities can not probe them without being punished directly or indirectly.

INDEED YOU ARE MOST STUPID

And you keep writing in bold letters still? Haba.

By the way, how do you define a stupid person? Maybe I should just help you. In simple words it means one who lacks intelligence. It also means one who lacks intellectual acuity. From all your comments so far and responses from people, can you not see that you lack intellectual acuity? You are able to make reasonable inputs. That’s your stupidity.

Grow up please.

Strike itself is a problem, it's difficult to solve a problem by using another problem.
By going on strike to solve their problem, they have created several other problems in the process.
The solution to this and many other issues we are currently facing is to have good leaders, not by going on incessant strikes.
This is what ASUU have failed to realize, i hope this evil government will continue to batter them till they become sensible.

We are waiting for ASUU to go and appeal that they don't want to go back to work while demanding for 7 months out of work payment

If I were Buhari, I'd ensure that this strike continues till I leave office. I'll now see if their so called salaries will not become bad debt to the next government

why not just comply with court orders and wait for the final judgement?

many of then have depleted their resources yet they're forming resilient.

it's true Nigeria lacks good leadership and every single Nigerian is having a bit of that. no sector is left out of it. ASUU should calm down and channel their efforts on electing credible leaders next election. Besides universities belong to FG not to ASUU.

I can almost bet that ASUU will lose this struggle - selfish lots

If u sent away ur most senior lecturers and professor, there won't be knowledge transfer and mentorship....u People will be teaching rubbish ...Imagine professors with highest research and publication all left....who will train the PhD? U Agbado people no geh sense walai....
.
For practical technical courses that required experienced tutors to teach advance concepts, who will train the students,? who will handle practicals procedures?

E.g Most of Nigerian medical consultant are leaving, my uncle is one, if experienced consultant and specialist leaves, Believe u me, ur next generation of medical consultant will be trained by half baked doctors, they won't be competent and that's disaster to medical field and more death to u people....that's the problem with knowledge transfer that will ensue...and all sector will suffer in Naija at this rate

You have said it all. Experience is different from paper qualifications. This massive drainage of experienced hands in our universities must not be allowed to continue. It will be highly regretted in the long run.

FG, calm down and accord them their due respect/settlement!
