I hold ASUU accountable for the thousands of half-baked yet protracted years of tutelage students eventually have.

Nonsense.

Lecturres that won't even be employable in Poland would be making noise as if he's one scholar that the world depends on.

What you typed is not true....A good leader knows the way, have the way and shows the way. I see that not in the past and present leadership of Nigeria

But how long do we continue to go back and forth

A good leader knows the way of what?

Are lecturers not meant to be leaders?

Who no like better thing? Any sensible and sound lecturer who has the opportunity to pursue his career outside and is still in Naija is a big fool.

Nigeria won't get better even in the next 30 years

Let's not deceive our selves it's not working. If you have the opportunity to japa pls do it fast.

Nigerians and our leaders have failed to address One Major Problem facing us, unless this is treat we won't move forward at all.

NIGERIA ETHNIC GROUPS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE, WE ARE NOT MEANT TO EVEN COEXIST IN THE FIRST PLACE. THESE ETHNIC GROUPS SHOULD BE COUNTRIES ON THEIR OWN.

Let's tell our selves the simple truth, trabalism has finished us. Non of the ethnic groups like themselves and we all wished we were never together.

Even if Nigeria must move forward a fresh new start is a must, fresh agreement and constitution is a must otherwise.

We will continue like this, elections upon elections won't save us

most of them are not fit to lecturer outside Nigeria. I dare them to do so. Countries that will hire them will only be looking for the downfall of their educational system. I wonder who will recruit lecturers that produce halve baked graduates?
They should go so we can recruit competent hands

God bless you. Nigerians are wicked to themselves, many are cannibals and evil people and a typical example is the guy you quoted. Make no mistake about it, If many of the lecturers migrate, it is the Nigerian state that will suffer immensely from that brain drain. Many western countries nationals are getting weary of the work-life balance and leaving many "engaged" jobs for migrants while their legislative arm making robust welfare package for the entire populace irrespective of your work status. That is why many African migrants are leaving in droves to take up the jobs, they will work all through their life while the citizens enjoy their labour. The question is who now repairs your forgone countries? The wicked politicians have no plans to make here better, they always run to those migrated countries and get the best while insidiously impoverishing and making here hellhole. Who then mentors the new lecturers if the good ones run away? The medical system now is absolute garbage and I am speaking from experience. Many of the good doctors are no longer working here, anyone with any chronic illness has only 50% survival rate and Ngige still opens his "buccal cavity" and said anyone that wants to leave can leave we have replacement but once he has any major infection you will see him fly away to foreign country. The earlier we sit down and correct these abnormalies the better, the 200 million Nigerians can't run away. The government should put measures to retain the best hands. Let them keep playing ostrich and been supported by their devilish propagandist, my prayer is anyone that becomes enabler in destroying the country will first in hand be the receiver when the consequences will fall back.

They can't go anywhere, the Doctors and the nurses are travelling every day without informing the media. I bet you, you guys can't lecture out there, you guys are used to tips, bribe, molestation and inconsistency in the class room.
How will you stay at home for 7 months without plan B and you call yourselves teachers.
If ASUU are given the opportunity to rule this country they will be worst than APC government.

With all your education, you don't know the meaning of "skills shortage?"

When Man Utd replaced defenders like Jaap Stam, Gabriele Heinze, Gary Neville, Denis Irwin, Jesper Blomqvist and Patrice Evra with the likes of Phil Jones, Harry Maguire, Darmian and Luke Shaw, has the quality of the team been the same, even though technically, one footballer replaced another in those positions?

Can you compare the skills being turned out in Nigerian universities with the equivalents being turned out abroad? Are the skills qualities the same?

What is skills shortage? You don't know the meaning mister!

INDEED YOU ARE VERY STUPID

THE NIGERIAN LECTURERS....DOCTORS AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS RESIGNING AND RELOCATING ABROAD.....ARE THEY FOREIGN TRAINED AND SKILLED?

SAME HIGH SKILLS THEY THINK THEY HAVE THEN THEY GET ABROAD THEN REALIZE THAT THEIR HIGH SKILLS IS ANCIENT TECHNOLOGY THERE ABROAD.

SO WHAT QUALITY OF SKILLS IS YOUR DAFT BRAIN TALKING ABOUT WHEN THEY ARE BEING REPLACED BY THEIR COLLEAGUES WHOM THEY ALL SHARE SAME LEVEL OF LOW SKILLS?

And I keep asking, why must the government be forced to carry out its responsibility and yet refused to do so. Is this how developed nations address their educational needs? This government is anti people. That is just it.
stop saying this government. ASUU has been fighting every government in power. Government will take them serious when they ASUU also start taking the students seriously. Give Nigeria very sound graduates that will be productive in the society and the government will have no choice but to do as you wish

Chai, I laugh at you my dear young friend.

You have now proven without doubt what I actually said earlier about you. I know your “caliber” already.

By the way, why do you write in bold letters? Is it that English is so difficult for you to comprehend?

Anyway, I agree with you that you are regarding masquerading. You are the one actually masquerading as someone residing outside this country, yet you happily reside here, with no idea of how to obtain a Nigerian passport. You masquerade like an adult of over 40, yet you are a very young school leaver, getting fed still be your parents. That makes you the non entity inferred by you.

Lastly, kindly stop making mockery of yourself. It’s so very early in the day.

Cheers.

Stop denying the #fact
Strike itself is a problem, it's difficult to solve a problem by using another problem.
By going on strike to solve their problem, they have created several other problems in the process.
The solution to this and many other issues we are currently facing is to have good leaders, not by going on incessant strikes.
This is what ASUU have failed to realize, i hope this evil government will continue to batter them till they become sensible.

We are waiting for ASUU to go and appeal that they don't want to go back to work while demanding for 7 months out of work payment
