The man isn't making sense. If they could leave, why wait till after the strike? Is there a date that the strike will end?

And where will they go to with their archaic mode of teaching?

Many of them will have to retake their PhD's before they can be allowed to lecture overseas except those that had theirs already from notable institutions overseas. ASUU is also a problem on it own, they are as useless as the government.

This guys are influenced by some Politicians

Where will Nigeria get 1.3 trillion for University

No wonder state universities are not part of their nonsense
so because they're fighting for their rights, they're now politically influence? Why do people speak as if you don't have brains? Nigeria don't have 1.3 trillion, yet bubu removed $1 billion and gave to Iran for who knows why.

Let's tell ourselves the truth, no lecturer is in Nigerian universities because of patriotism, they are there because they haven't seen opportunity to lecture abroad simple

You pay 150k per term for your daughter in primary school yet you think it is wise to pay 40k per session for university education.

Abeg shift.

See where you end up......Any sensible government will take it education sector seriously. You need to be well enlightened and stop all this ASUU bashing on SM

Look at why the government isn't looking at the previous agreement with ASUU/education for God sake

Talk is cheap bro, it's a repeated vicious circle, on a daily basis lecturers leave the country in their numbers, they employ more and the wailing continues
Do broke people leave? For a lecturer to have threatened to leave then it means he's been able to save enough to facilitate his relocation.

Let the jobless graduates come in too to save enough money for relocation

I wonder why some people level of reason is so low. Those who feel ASUU is at fault need mental evaluation. And I keep asking, why must the government be forced to carry out its responsibility and yet refused to do so. Is this how developed nations address their educational needs? This government is anti people. That is just it.

You need a mental evaluation.

You think you can hoodwink the entire public?

Are lecturers from state universities ghouls that can live without food?

How come they are working ?

Are private university lecturers saints?

How come they earn less yet do their jobs without incessant strikes?

Where in the world do you get paid a full 6months of pay when you embark on a strike ?

Isn't that an incentive to always be on strike?

How come you can pay 150k per term for a 6 year old yet must oppose anything more than 40k per session for an undergraduate?

Watch out and see them win the election, e go shock you. Was ASUU not striking under the PDP governents?
The only solution out is for goverment to introduce astronomical fees in schools, is that what you want? You will still called them devil party if that happens

This is the effect of prolonged ASUU strike all thanks to the evil party. I don't blame the Lecturers for this decision, I pity the students.

Yet APC is campaigning to rescue Nigeria from the same APC…People supporting the evil party, I wonder how they sleep at night

They can't go anywhere except maybe Benin Republic and Togo.

You think faculties in UK for instance have gaping holes in which any African lecturer can simply waltz his way into?

They can be raising their shoulders for the uninformed.

I hold ASUU accountable for the thousands of half-baked yet protracted years of tutelage students eventually have.

Nonsense.

Lecturres that won't even be employable in Poland would be making noise as if he's one scholar that the world depends on.

It's very unfortunate that these glorified parasites will resort to a court to absolve themselves of their responsibility.
Their children school abroad with the nations money, yet the Court won't see anything wrong with that, but rather sees something wrong with lecturers fighting for their rights.

That's what am saying bro, ones the new lecturers saved enough money, they will leave too, knowing fully well what lecturers passes through in Nigeria universities, they will easily grab apportunity for better life abroad or even other private universities in Nigeria who could give them better offers

If you like go and study PhD in botany or office management and expect to employed quickly you are wasting your time .

If you know how many lecturers, students and skilled professionals that have left this country in the last 3yrs , and are working outside, you wouldn't post what you just did

Even as a chief consultant in the medical field, one still needs to upgrade abroad before fitting into their heath sector. Likewise other regulated discipline there. Las las not all, will even continue in their career path. To think of the money been looted & mismanaged daily, you begin to question the priority of government. And by the way, this is a result of a country where the federal government must handle everything, including roads, school even pilgrimage, etc. What a country!

You people are actually very fooolish...
.
If u sent away ur msot senior lecturers and professor, there won't be knowledge transfer and mentorship....u People will be teaching rubbish ...Imagine professors with highest research and publication all left....who will train the PhD? U people no geh sense...
.
For practical technical courses that required experienced tutors to teach advance concept s, who will train the students,?...who will handle practicals
E.g Most of Nigerian medical consultant are leaving, my uncle is one, if experienced consultant and specialist leaves, Believe u me, ur next generation of consultant will be trained by half baked doctors, they won't be competent and that's disaster to medical field....that's the problem with knowledge transfer that will Ensue...
the matter just tire me and I am pretty sure the the person that posted that rubbish is a student that would still end up voting for tinubu, it only shows are badly the future of this country has been compromised. Best bet is too leave.

Ofcourse, it isn't working, why not join hands to make it work, instead of jumping into flight to go help damage those that made their own work. This same non working system produced the lecturers free of charge
