It doesn't change anything, we will still japa according to most Nigerians grin

But on the second thought, why do most Nigerians abroad always try to discourage folks back home from traveling abroad? Even some well to do people here also don't like to hear that one struggling fellow or brother is about to leave for greener pastures.

If it's expensive, then come back to Nigeria and let someone go over. Hypocrisy!

handy man charges are very expensive anywhere in the west. Painting, mechanic, carpententry. They pay taxes, they have to feed their family and cost of living too. So they charge to cover these things. If e tire make dem come back.

I spent about $750 (workmanship Inclusive) to change by brake pads and rotors. OEM products are very expensive.

However, the truth is that I won't be changing the pads or rotors again for at least 4 to 5 years...That's the difference.

So after checking the car, they didn't give her a cost estimate of what needed to be change for her to agree if she want to change it or take the car elsewhere? Which country is that?

Stop converting dollar to naira since you're not paying in naira and you earned in dollar. Cost of living are not the same

The fear of bills did not make me own one, instead, I opted for accommodation that takes me 3-5 mins to work, though a bit more. When i consider traffic offenses that could range to 500k to N1.8m, a friend repaired his AC for about 400k, tyres that you have to change more often. Besides, i am not the outgoing type, zero friends, mall and church that's all. Overall, i spend so much less on transport. Sense lo gba, you can't be spending all your earnings in another man's land that they can decide tomorrow to send you packing. A primary school friend just got hersef 2022 sienna tho, i was happy for her when she told me, however it's on mortgage, the easy means of acquiring these things will make you wanna jump on it, but for a guy that is looking back at home, hmmm. I already got much luxury i desire in my little abode of 400k rent per month minus all other bills.

Unless she meant break pads for all four legs of the car.

What a big lie, a friend who just changed rotors and brake pads on her whip only spent 700 bucks which to me I believe is still too much.

its only rational reasoning that when you buy an expensive car to show off, then forget about the future maintenance cost you will shed hot tears, the average whiteman will go for his ford or truck ,, while my naija people will get there and buy benz.
Somehow you think Ford vehicles are not expensive grin grin grin
