Peter Obi is not an economist but has economically proven to be too far better than sanusi even in all his degrees. Sanusi can't make the mistake of engaging Obi in economic debate, he knows that.

What business institution has Sanusi established and it's growing? None.
Obi is greatly versatile, not on papers but practical.

I understand but I will still say the problem is not Buhari though he is always held responsible as the president........
Nigerians are very wicked.....
Buhari actually started well with corruption fight but corruption/tribalism started fighting back, ..... Even in his own government.......it is so frustrating and this is the reason I said if Nigerian youths wants something different they should look beyond the presidency........
The corruption is in all facet of the economy....
And corruption is the major killer of the economy.......
From the presidency to the least......haba......

Another killer of the economy are the governors....... until you start holding them accountable without sentiment and tribalism, nothing will change and even if Obi becomes the president with all his qualities it will not work.........

MY RESPONSE

I completely agree with you. I agree with you about the governors too. We have little regard for ethics, but do not underestimate the influence people in positions of authority have in shaping behavior, especially by the example of their own lives. Nigerians are wicked, but not inherently so or not more inherently than other nationals. The same wicked Nigerians go to the West and fall in line. Behaviors can be learned and unlearned depending on the intentional structure set up by the leadership( education, national orientation, rewarding integrity, working with the entertainment industry to shape mindsets and attitudes, working with religious leaders etc..). This can be done with inetntionality and competence. For example, do you know the amount of influence naija music has on our mindset? So, what if the national Orientation Agency kicks in and bring our artistes and songwriters on board with the task of reshaping our mindset? People take cues from those in position of power and influence. The government can do a lot in this regard.

About the governors, here is how Obi can deal with them: With the help of his INEC chairman, establish a strong election or voting system that addresses the loopholes such that governors' fate are solely decided by the will of the people. Second, be transparent about allocations to governors (security votes etc...)let Nigerians know how much their governors take in monthly; with this, they can ask questions. I know governors are mini demons, but in our present system, the Federal government can do a lot to influence and arm twist governors.
I know the wicked men benefitting from the present rot will fight back, but Obi also understands street; he is not afraid of fighting. He did so in Anambra-he fought entrenched interests and was even impeached. Obi is not oblivious to the enormous challenges.

Also, the major source of corruption in our country is lack of transparency on the part of our government and the volatility of the system and the economic uncertainties it creates for Nigerians. If Nigerians have some measure of economic security and systemic stability, corruption will be reduced by half.

About Buhari, I didn't believe he EVER fought corruption. He never appointed technocrats and competent people into offices. It took him six months to appoint his cousins and tribesmen into important federal offices and positions- many of them incompetent. This unconciounable nepotism in itself is the height of corruption. Buhari's regime will go down in history as the most corrupt Nigeria has ever experienced.

you are right but you should that igbos are the most tribalistic. Majority of igbos are supporting Peter obi just because he is an Igbo man.

It's a big lie. Igbos don't respect any godfather and don't do follow follow. Ever since we have been having elections, we have always been presented with bag eggs to choose from but presently it's fortunate that Peter is the only viable candidate among all and it turns out to be Igbo. Ever since Igbos have been voting different people of other tribes they were not tribalistic? But now an opportunity to vote the right candidate who turns out to be Igbo, so you expect Igbos to vote in misfits so as not to be seen as tribalistic? You guys just are terrible and very dangerous. For your information, Igbos respect those who respect themselves. If tomorrow Nnamdi Kanu starts acting funny, Igbos will put him in he's position. This is the trait other tribes see and label Igbos as egoistic or tribalistic. It's quite unfortunate that most of our cultural practices is responsible for the backwardness of this country. For example using the North as a reference, they don't call out their leaders when they go wrong. While the west just give a single human a god like status and no one question such individual. Among all the major candidates, they have all shown to be sectional and tribalistic in their quest for power. They all lack that unifying qualities. When you ask those who accuse Igbos of being a problem to state in what areas are Igbos making their lives miserable especially in their communities, they won't give any reasonable answer. Pulling him down attitude is a normal thing in this part of the world. We are so envious and jealous. Because of hatred of Igbos a lot of people will deliberately vote in misfits just to pepper the Igbos.

The yorubas should learn from the northerners; we do not give igbos a chance under any circumstances. You simply don’t leave your door open for rats.
Peter Obi can even relocate to the north, that will never change how we see him and his people.

mr ma, nobody hate igbos. just look at the way igbos are recieved and accommodated in all the other 5 regions of this country. Infact there some places in Abuja, Lagos, Kaduna, Jos,kano etc that if you enter you will think you are in Igbo land.
You are asking how you destroy our communities? Do you forget the amount of drugs you are transporting to the north?

In Nigeria, being a State Governor is far more important than being an appointed CBN Governor which is just a mere Presidential appointment unlike Governor that is an elective post, which Obi has occupied.

Obi has been Chairman of a Nigerian Commercial Bank.

Obi has led Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Obi has led Nigeria's economy advisory board under GEJ.

Obi has headed Nigeria's Governor's Forum.

And many more.

Sanusi is a baby where Obi is.

Sanusi cannot win LGA Chairman election in Kano state, that was why Governor Ganduje disgraced and removed him as Emir as if he was a smelling fly.

Sanusi have a very terrible CV, everybody knows but cos of religious extremism and bigotry in Nigeria we just try to give people like him attention to please their backward, cave kinsmen
so with all the positions that Obi held, do you now believe that Peter Obi is among the leaders that brought Nigeria to it knee? Do you now believe that Peter Obi and other politicians contribute to the reality of this country?

Career wise Sanusi excelled at FirstBank, CBN and also as a lecturer

Business wise Kano Emirates holdings has more business interests than Obi and his family

Certificate wise Sanusi excelled far more

He suddenly became a saint because he knew the vice president or presidential ticket would not get to him in PDP this time and decided to run to Labour party that is still filled with criminals that ran from either Apc or PDP.

So you think he just got the presidential ticket for LP for free just like that and he is the saint that can save Nigeria even when it is obvious he is a tribal bigot and an IPOB

The gap between South East and North in all forms of life is very clear.
At least obi made his billions in private sector before joining politics.is there any one from the north who can boast of that? We all know that Fulani can never rebuild this country.

don't mind them, they always like to blame politicians from other regions, and praise their own. Ikpeazu is owing Abia state workers 30 months salary but you can never see them attacking him. They burn down Lagos and Tinubu investments but Asp James Nwafor that Peter Obi used to kill the 98 youths is still working free. His house is there nobody touch it.
