Just curious ... to anyone who knows that area..... from the photo the heavy traffic is going from left to right .... west to east... but the flyover is from south to north... with very light traffic. How would this flyover really help? .... because I can't see how it will reduce the west to east traffic. Can you explain? 3 Likes |

Itsrm: I was also thinking why not just make an alternative road to ease the congestion and avoid all the traffic having to come to this bottle neck. But hey!.... constructing new roadways is not as good a chest beater and "good development " and "achievement " and "legacy" as an unnecessary flyover. I guess this makes more political sense. |

Wike is another useless niger delta crook. What is the role of all these useless flyovers in ph. He just started constructing them during his second tenure cos he wanted the presidency. The worst is that the flyovers are just a waste of resources. Those are the least of things thT ph needs right now 5 Likes 1 Share |

Tomorrow, when we patch tent with Mr project and decided he's to be our next president, some people who have nothing to showoff will started calling us names and say we don collect money. Tell me Why you won't love this man and why won't you like him to lead your country? This man is not saving money and not investing in family business o |

obembet: Even this particular flyover was sited in a axis were traffic gridlock isn't severe. Wike sited it as a way of chasing the Igbo motor spare part dealers. Heard he bought all the property housing the defunct ikuku spare part market. 3 Likes |

obembet:Stop talking trash. If you have moved on that road some years ago, it will take you more than 4hours to move from Oil mill junction to Garrison or Park but today, in less than 30mins, you are there. Yes 8 flyovers looks much but that road is the major road in PHC, it has made live now easy for the people. Moreover, this is his 2nd tenure when many Governors in Nigeria don't even do much but steal alone, but he's busy trying to deliver some dividends. Wike is not perfect but he has done well on infrastructure. Give it to him. There may be other areas he did not do so well, that's left for another discussion but on infrastructure, he has done great. |
