Oh!! I see na Nigeria dey breed such animal.? How many dey and how many remain? I can't blame you cos if you know how much Kenya as a country make from their game/forest reserve alone is more than budget of two states together. Again can't blame you, hunger no get alternatives. erico2k2: |

Burna440: Lmao. Yes, animal cruelty is atrocious and should be seriously frowned at. But, 1. These people don't even know if there's such thing as 'animal cruelty'. 2. They don't know if anything could actually go into extinction or not. They don't even know the meaning of the word. 3. These are hungry Nigerians. The hunger in Nigeria today, it's by God's grace that people have not resorted to cannibalism in some places. 4. There is a lack of education on the subject of animal cruelty in Nigeria and how it adversely affect nature. May the soul of the innocent hippo rest in peace 1 Like |

Iamlakexide:See Dem, nah people like una nor dey value dem own people, u think say nah everything wey the west do correct abi? their own ideology different from ours, make we Africans get sense for once and live by our own ideology. This was how we was told Diesel as fuel for cars is more environmentally friendlier than petrol so the taxes for Deisel cars went down almost zero and petrol went up, now 5 year ago, they now said diesel is terrible for the environment, nah them get yam nah dem get yam, |

Naija matter weak me. After killing it, what next? Eat it? And after eating it, what next? A poor, ignorant and hungry nation. What's with the senseless killing? You encroach into their habitat and you still kill them. If it were a situation of hippos terrorising lives, I understand. But a full-on attack? No. Not in support. There's this pain in my heart I feel each time I see wildlife slaughtered needlessly and ignorant people defending it, whether by Nigerians or foreigners. Deep sigh. 1 Like |

Re: Massive Hippopotamus Killed In Lokoja by kunle75(m): 8:40pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
erico2k2: Am not into fishing, that answer your first question. I don't need to know the exact laws guiding fishing anywhere but information available on net is enough to guide me on how and what to do if I want to. I was supporting the position you made earlier about people doing things According to law. I do not if you live close to where I am,then you may well understand my point |

kunle75:U made a vague assumption hence I responded in that way; In England and Wales you do not need a rod licence to fish if you are fishing more than 6 miles at sea.in the USA no licence to Rod fish at sea. NB, I have fished in them two countries B4 |

I think i mentioned kenya In my last quote.. Oh kenya na African country chief. Besides you said our own ideology.. Kindly point to me in a sentence what you are proud of in the vision less action? Same animal that you mortgage future on as a game reserve and keep cashing out dollars as revenue, you kill and eat for just a week max... Slavery mentality. erico2k2: |

Re: Massive Hippopotamus Killed In Lokoja by erico2k2(m): 8:58pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
Iamlakexide:Nigeria has great potential, if our only or major source of income wa wildlife, we would have developed ours more than the Kenyans. Let me quickly draw you to places like Australia, u think Kenya have half the wildlife Oz has? No but they focus more on Gold and Iron. In all, what Im trying to say is simple, leave Africans to live African ways don't make mockery of it just cos you are copying some western way of life, these guys dey go back dey laugh us wey we chose that school of thought trust me, I don live with them for 23 years. The Australian Govt gave special licence to the Aboriginals who are the real owners of Oz to live thier life as they once lived, the covers hunting, farming etc. So if these people can recognise that certain things need being left as it was who be we wey they try to forcefully adapt thier own way of life? |

erico2k2: I never made any assumptions as u said,I only sighted an example of what happened to my friends wife while gone fishing and were punished for fishing with expired license. Irrespective of where u fish, having expired license is a no no either in England or America. |
