Peter Obi built, not just 1, but a total of 28 bridges in Anambra. One of the longest of the bridges was the Ozubulu-Atani road. I made a post about this here with video evidence which was recorded when he completed his tenure. In fact, Anambra GDP grew by 40% in 2 years

Do not forget that Obi almost singlehandedly brought Obiano. So, if you think Obiano failed, then Obi is to be blamed for his incapacity in finding a fitting successor to serve Anambra people.

I would've blamed Peter Obi if despite Obiano's failures in his first term in office, Peter had campaigned for him to retain office for another term for selfish interest. That will make him an aider and abater. This is democracy. Even I supported Buhari in 2015, but as soon as I realized that he was a failure in 2016, I abandoned him and became his biggest critic, unlike some other people who continued supporting him to ruin Nigeria for their selfish interests.

Unlike Benjamin Netanyahu who could come back to steer the ship whenever he wanted, Peter Obi doesn't have such luxury, and It's up to the people of Anambra to elect a new leader. You will not see Peter Obi meddling in the affairs of state, and that's how democracy is in advanced countries, even the UK has had multiple prime ministers in just a few years

Your defence doesn't hold water. Leadership is about building strong institutions.
You don't build on weak foundations that will collapse just years after you leave office and say you are a leader....
Leadership isn't about one man emerging, and as soon he is off the scene, everything collapses. That isn't leadership.

Most of our democratic institutions are unfortunately in the hands of the Federal Government. Example of such institutions include INEC, The Police, The Judiciary, The legislature, The EFCC and government agencies, NLC and labor institutions, Pressure groups etc. These are some of the major institutions that strengthen democracy.

If these institutions are independent and strengthened, there will be checks and balances and government will function better for the people. If people can protest and have their rights protected, and INEC can conduct credible elections, leaders will start doing their jobs because voters will have the power

We're still a developing country for a reason. Government interfers in virtually all democratic institutions in Nigeria

We need a president who can allow democratic institutions to function independently. Peter Obi is that man among all the top candidates.

Peter Obi will not order peaceful protesters to be murdered,
Peter Obi will be extravagant with public funds, he will cut the cost of governance

Why do you talk like someone who's not tired of seeing Nigerians in hardship, deadly insecurity, hunger and leadership wickedness Why? Do you derive happiness when you see people suffering

See.. Even if you are benefiting politically from Nigeria's current shameful situation, pity the poor, jobless, frustrated, ordinary Nigerians you see hussling to make ends meet in the streets every day, and support good to triumph over evil. Let's shun ethnicity and religion, and vote like people who want real change. Among the three major presidential candidates, without being sentimental and to be realistic, Obi is better.
