With all due respect in the world, i think Prof. Pat Utomi is high on some cheap drugs.

Just look at him making references to South-Korea political settings just like a clueless Peter Obi will always do when trying to dodge and maneuver his way cunningly when been faced with discussions far above his intellectual capacity.

Firstly, the main aim of political debate is to educate, and elucidiate your plans for a greater country and stress more on why people should vote for you.

But in Nigeria here where we have a very silly journalist and supposedly debate organisers or interview host conniving with opposition parties to plan your downfall. Throwing cheap subs in a very obvious manner at a specific candidate.

A very smart man like Asiwaju Tinubu will rather spend his time making political moves, strategising, meeting the main voters and discussing his plans with them RATHER than honouring a mediocre comedy show of a debate which was poorly coordinated, where 80% of the viewers will be the same people sitting at the front of their TV on Election day and on their phones gossiping away about the election rather than going out to vote.

Elections are not won by jumping on every interview or debate to seek public validations but by meeting the real voters directly through town hall meetings and engagements, telling them your plans face-to-face.
Nonsense, justifying rubbish because of ineptitude. You lots are the same. No difference. Claiming that other tribes don't anything when in real sense you are the one lacking. What is wrong in referencing South Korea. Mugus that knows nothing but claim they know all because of tribes

What's d harm will debate bring to our election ?
Presidential candidates are supposed to be eager to attend debates for its a good avenue to sell themselves.
Presidential debates are supposed to be a duty not an option.
It helps d electorates to really know what they are going for.

Just look at how senseless you sound defending someone running away from debates. Debates is a platform to convince Nigerians of how ready and capable you will lead them. Anyways, Tinubu will never be Nigeria's President the red flag is visible to the blind.

Nigerians won't elect a runaway President. It so evident that you can't defend Tinubu without sounding stupid, you keep proving it.

The question is, is it morally and ethically right for citizens to organize a debate for those that wish to lead them and some refused to show up?
This is the reason we've not got it right in this country because those that wished to lead us always come through the back doors and we take take hook line and sinker.
Meanwhile, the campaigns they selectively attended before were they also constitutional. Because the last time I checked, many of them have appeared before on many debate at different times and they never complained that it is not constitutional.

Who are the citizens that organised the debate?
So if everyone organises debate, will they attend all? Besides AriseTv is only in three states, out of 36. Now does the debate make sense?

To discerning minds it is not baseless but needful while to reprobate minds, it is needless.
A country will always get the leader they deserves with your kind mind.

So they should attend all debates. If all citizens are to use debate as a yard stick, how many debates will they attend during campaign period? You people should rest with ur unnecessary debate cos with or without the debate , u already know who u will vote for and it won’t change anything so quit the bickering abeg.
